You get what you've paid for. A reasonable price for a stay over. The place was well kept and clean. The room was relatively spacious. The bed was not the best and perhaps an area where improvement can be made (one bed at a time?). However no serious gripes about it as the price more than made up for it.

Clean and friendly service.
Very basic facilities (which is all we really needed). No bar or area to hang out in if you arrive early and have nowhere else to be.
Breakfast was a serve yourself very basic affair also. It did the job, but I wouldn't go any further than that....

The hotel worker knocked 2 times on the room door around 2:00 AM.

Cant fault.yes it in need of a little tlc but was clean,bed comfy, bathroom clean,bedding and towels clean. Plenty of places to eat round and about. Was quiet when we were there.

Budget hotel.
Was not expecting the ritz at the price we paid.
Check in was fine,room where good had a family room and had I king and two large singles,king size mattress was soft but but if that’s what you like fine.
Shower was brilliant good power.
Breakfast was a bit weird as stated Continental, which is basically cereal, croissant or toast or yoghurt.
This is located by the stairs very tiny lol.
No room to sit in and eat so took it to the hotel room.
Overall got what we paid for.
Ps thank you to laundry man trying to fix his van at 7:30 in the morning by smashing the hell out of it with a hammer.

Redwings is ok just wish they would fix there windows they are in such poor condition you can hear traffic, road noise all night. Other than that it's ok room was warm there's plenty of hot water, tea coffee and tv.

Stayed for 1 night and our van was broken into. We have stayed there many times before and not had any issue, however we will not be staying again, It is a shame because we never had any complaints previously.

We are really sorry to hear that your van got targeted on your recent visit.This is a wide spread problem at the moment in the Bedfordshire and neighbouring counties, and is affecting hotels , supermarket carparks and industrial estates.We can only advise guests to park as close to the hotel as possible and not to leave any valuables in the vehicles. You must also report to the police.

The staff were welcoming, the room clean, however the eating area appeared more of a corridor. Limited eateries in the area for meals. Good for an overnight stop / break in journey

Very warm welcome, my doggie companion was made very welcome too. Great support offered by the friendly staff if required. Clean throughout, spacious room, comfy bed, basic self serve breakfast, no limit on how much you wish to consume, worked well for myself.
Great value for money, I would certainly go to Redwings again.

Initially I thought the room was clean and ok, but then in the evening cigarette smoke was coming into our bathroom. Our room wreaked of cigarette smoke and after complaining twice I was told there was nothing they could do!! I mean it is a non smoking lodge, so if you want to smoke in the rooms then this is the place to stay as nothing is done about it, but if you are a non smoker I wouldn’t stay here. I am appalled at the response from the management who said the next morning after we had vacated the room they couldn’t smell smoke. I had opened the windows to try and get rid of the smell. I definitely won’t be staying here again or at any of the other Redwing Lodges.

We are really sorry to hear you did not enjoy your recent stay with us, you raised your concerns with reception that you thought cigarette smoke was coming into your bathroom from the extractor fan, the manager was very concerned by this and did go to investigate but could find no evidence of smoke in the bathroom. She did contact head office to raise this and concern and maintenance and complaints attended the hotel and they could not find anything wrong with the extractor fan or smell any smoke cigarette smoke coming from it, obviously the manager saw this as a safety concern but the extractor fan has passed all safety checks, and deemed to be in good working order. We take all guests issues raised and investigate thoroughly and could find no evidence of your complaint. We are have a zero tolerance to smoking anywhere within the hotel, and guests would be asked to leave and fined 150 if there was evidence of this.We unfortunately cannot refund a guest if there is no evidence after our investigation was complete and all issues raised failed to find anything wrong with the room.Karen Hotel Manager
