"Chose this hotel for easy off/on the thruway and a concert at darien lake. Was able to check in quickly. Staff was super nice at check in and out. I think they have some of the best coffee, (french roast) thank you! Did not eat but waffles smelled amazing and eggs and sausage looked good. Bed comfortable enough and pillows food too. Would stay again."

There was a small mix-up on email communication, however, we made one phone call and received a return call immediately with all necessary instructions to enter our room when we arrived. "We had an overnight stay at Hidden Valley Animal Adventure. We have been here many times to see the animals and for events, as I am from the area originally, but had NO idea they had hotel rooms. The rooms were very clean and the bed was super comfortable - towels super fluffy and brand new bed linens. Coffee maker was super clean and we had a Keurig which was nice. We walked over to see the animals which was so fun and when you walk out the front door you have a view of the pond and bridge/gazebo - beautiful!!. Plus you are out in the middle of the country which I loved. The room is very small and no windows, but to be honest, I think that is why i slept so well there. Bathrooms are very big though. The girl at the front desk walked me to my room and showed us how to use the keys and seemed excited to have us. I would 100% stay here again. I was only sad that we just stayed one night."

"We loved everything about our stay and I wish we could have stayed longer. Quiet, peaceful, beautiful. We were even lucky enough to have a thunderstorm storm role through and enjoyed it from the patio. The house had everything we needed, was comfortable and thoughtfully put together and decorated. We walked down by the lake, visited the park, my husband fished from the shore and dock. Town was easy to get to and there was plenty of hiking and things to do close by. Thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven with us, we truly enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again next time we’re in NY."

I hope efforts can be made to restore it, The interior is beautiful, reflecting the 1940's tradesmanship.The bedrooms are well furnished with comfortable beds. The bathrooms were fine; one had a spacious walk in shower.You must see the chickens!!So visit; you won't be disappointed.Oh, and visit local wineries!"
