"The location was good. We only spent one night as we were traveling. It was a basic, simple room. The free breakfast isn't anything to crow about. I would make other breakfast plans. Toilet worked most of the time. We had to fiddle with it."

"Definitely a more rustic/hunting property. Pros for the property: it was clean, beds super comfortable, the host was very nice and helpful. The bigger pond was pretty and the outdoor space was beautiful. Cons: the birds nest was a little farther away from the main house than I thought and the 2nd bathroom is detached from both spaces so to use it required you to go outside and in the Missouri heat that bathroom was very stuffy and not well used. Also some things in the kitchen were lacking.. we had a large group and there are not a lot of plates, cups, mugs, pots and pans. Definitely pack like you are going camping we anticipated this and had everything we needed. Overall it was a good stay and loved the area. We did not spend much time on the property as we were there for basic training graduation. The base is about a half hour drive but worth it for the price! Thank you to the host for the accommodations."
