Let me just start of by saying that Jennifer is an amazing host! Prior to arrival, the answered all our questions and assured us of any concerns. Once we arrived, we unfortunately had a bit of a plumbing issue in the bathroom which she quickly resolved — within two hours in fact! Her prompt responses and support made our stay all the more enjoyable.CJ’s Lakehouse itself is a gorgeous property. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, and the living & dining areas feel like you’re right at home. I am also a room decor fanatic, and loved the aesthetic of the Lakehouse! Do be warned, the bedrooms got a bit hot because there is just a window AC located in the kitchen. It does sound a bit loud (especially in the quiet of the night), so I recommend you run it all day if you are light sleepers! We found it a bit challenging to enjoy the outdoors because of the harsh waves from Lake Erie and the multitude of mosquitoes we encountered, but CJ’s Lakehouse is just a short distance away from other fun stuff.
