Sit outside on the deck and take in the beautiful views! Managed by Traverse Hospitality The Space: The kitchen has all the essentials including a Ninja blender, crock pot, toaster oven with air fryer, kitchen aid mixer and hand mixer. The living room and workout room both have TV’s where Starlink can be accessed to log into your own Netflix/ Hulu accounts etc. There is also a wood burning fireplace for you to enjoy. This cabin is in Trophy Elk hunting area 49\. Next door to area 48 & 45. Please note their are stairs to get to the main level and stairs to get to the 3rd level. Sleeping Arrangements: Master Bedroom (3rd Level): King bed, en-suite bathroom with separate shower and clawfoot tub Loft (3rd Level): Queen Murphy bed Guest Bedroom (Main Level, 2nd Floor): Queen bed, guest bathroom across the hall with glass-enclosed shower Lower Level (Entry): This room features a queen-over-queen bunk bed and doubles as a small workout space, equipped with a treadmill, a few free weights, and a TV for entertainment. (note: the main source of heat is the wood burning stove, there is radiant heat, but the best way to heat the cabin in the cold months would be to use the wood burning stove). Please Note: We do utilize a weblink outside the platform that directs guests to our guidebook. You will receive an email with this link. This is the ONLY way guests can access check-in information, and facilitates the collection of fees and other special requests/upgraded services we offer. Guest Access: Guests have access to the entire home. There is parking in the driveway. In the winter the hill can get icy so we do recommend a 4 wheel drive vehicle in the winter months November to April. The Neighborhood: This home is outside of town and remote. Getting Around: You will need a vehicle to get around. Downtown Leadville is about an 8 minute car ride. Other Things to Note: License Number: License # 2025-P2 Note - in order to heat the cabin in the colder months, the wood burning stove is going to be the way to do it. If you are not comfortable with this, then this may not be the right fit. Please note there are stairs to get to the main level and stairs to get to the 3rd level. There is no air conditioning. NO open fires are allowed. You might occasionally encounter some of the local wildlife, insects, and small critters that are part of the natural surroundings. We recommend keeping doors securely closed whenever possible. Rest assured, we've implemented thorough measures to ensure your stay remains undisturbed by these natural inhabitants. Altitude sickness is real. In Leadville/ Twin Lakes, the elevation can be up to 10,000 feet. Symptoms can include dizziness and nausea, so please be mindful of this. We cannot offer refunds for guests experiencing altitude sickness. If you anticipate being affected, we recommend obtaining insurance at the time of booking. The views are incredible, and the check-in process was smooth and easy. There’s plenty of parking, a private road, and the property feels very secluded and peaceful. The home itself is beautiful—honestly wish I could lease the place.The wraparound porch was a huge highlight, perfect for sunsets, sunrises, hanging out, and taking in the mountain views. There was plenty of firewood available on the property, which was a great bonus. The kitchen is gorgeous and well equipped with a great stove/oven and a good-sized fridge.The loft with the Murphy bed was amazing—there’s a table overlooking the second level and massive windows with mountain views, making it an incredible spot for writing or relaxing. The house has some of the best natural lighting I’ve ever seen. Bathrooms were great with large showers, beds were comfortable, and there were lots of extra blankets. The downstairs bar area is a very cool setup. WiFi worked well the entire stay.The host was extremely responsive, quick, and helpful.A few things to note for certain age groups: the balcony and stairs have gaps that could be a concern for small children. There was a mousetrap under the stairs in the bunk bed room and workout equipment in that room as well—no issue for us, just something to be aware of depending on your group.Overall, no real complaints at all. We’ll 1000% be coming back with friends soon. We wanted something that was outside of the city, but close enough to get in easily. Hiking trails were easily accessible. The rooms were comfortable and appreciated how well stocked the house was for things we might need. We have been on the road for a few weeks, so access to the washer/dryer was a big bonus for us.
