"The host was really fantastic, the communication with him was smooth and easy and he helped us quickly with the resolution of a WiFi problem. The house is so clean, good forniture, amazing kitchen and everything is brand new. Also our dog was happy to be there.If we will pass by Colmar again in the future, for sure we will come back to this property. Also because the strategic point to see all the cities around Colmar"

"Zimmer wurden renoviert sind aber nicht fertig. Teppich nicht sauber verlegt, Toilletenscharnierabdeckung fehlt. Bett sind hart und unkomfortabel. SPA kostet 49 Euro Aufpreis, dafür bekommt man ein Hammam was modrig riecht und für den Preis zuviele Gäste. Leider stimmt die Relation - Preis zu Leistung nicht. Vorsicht vor der Rezeption. Zuerst ein unfreundliche Dame, welche leider nur begrenzt eine andere Spache gesprochen hat, ausser französisch. Weiterhin war die Rechnung falsch - doppelt abgerechnet. Nachdem ich dies nicht sofort gemerkt habe und bezahlt habe, wurde ich noch unfreundlich zurechtgewiesen, dass ich das doch früher hätte merken sollen. Die Auberge gegenüber ist das genaue Gegenteil - tolles Essen, toller Service und überaus zuvorkommend. Schade - die Erfahrung nach sovielen Jahren auf dem Bollenberg - Service - schlecht, Zimmer - unterdurchschnittlich und Frühstück - dürftig für die ansonsten hervorragende französiche Küche. Nicht nochmal. "

"Overall we were happy with our stay. The house is bright, clean and comfortable, and very well -equipped. Lovely outlook, and a good base for touring the lovely Alsace region.However we feel that the description is slightly misleading. The garden is not fully enclosed and there is an unfinished fence above the road through which animals and small children might be at risk. The owner lives on site in an extension to the house, and shares the garden. Personally I would not have booked if I had known this as we have a nervous dog. Finally the images are a bit misleading There is a road to the right between the house and the farm which petrolheads love to use leaving the village each weekend and every holiday.The hostess is very welcoming and friendly but I think there should be at least a welcome pack of done kind, even if it is only in French."
