My husband and I were very impressed as soon as we arrived. Benjamin already knew who we were by names without having to show any booking documents. All staff were extremely professional and friendly greeting us with a smile. What a property! The drive in is stunning. Amazing greeting. Easy parking within a gated area. The check-in was first class. We were given a tour of the property which is incredible. The rooms are incredible. Then we experienced a wine tasting that we won't forget. The Banfi wines are amazing. Then we experienced arguably our favourite dining experience at the Michelin Star restaurant on the property. What a property! What a team!! We are already discussing our return.

We spent 2 days at the Palazzo do Vali and absolutely loved it!! Beautiful surroundings, magnificent home with frescoes on the ceiling and an old world charm! Sitting in the garden with a spectacular view of beautiful Siena was a perfect way to start our days with a delicious breakfast and also to end our days with some amazing italian red wine. Many thanks to Lorenzo and staff for making our stay unforgettable.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Farm house had wonderful character and charm. Hosts were extremely helpful. Wish we could have used all the amenities but alas it was winter; we will need to come back in the Spring/Summer.

Perfect, pristine, could not be any better!

Absolutely loved Siena and the surrounding area. The Villa del Sole was the perfect choice. The location in Siena provides a beautiful view. The breakfast was very nice, especially the coffee of which I had many cups. The best part was the graciousness of our host Gianluca. He was very helpful in learning about the area, things to see, places to eat and just a lovely person. To me this is the best part of a trip to Tuscany. I can't believe this property is only a 2 star! The rooms are very basic, but they are very charming and just for sleeping and showering anyhow. We had no trouble sleeping, was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was very good. The wine and food offered for purchase was affordable and very good. Staff was helpful and kind. We drove all over exploring the towns in Chanti. There's so many wineries if we had more time we would have booked a tour. The pool and views at this place are amazing....

Despite our updated European GPS, it was really painful trying to find the place, it is in Aquaviva, not in the city of Montepulciano but 20 minutes away. If you are looking for "Via Grazianelle" or "Relais Villa Grazianella", you won't find it. It is part of a complex called Fattoria Del Cerro. Look for that or ask for that instead if you get lost. No signs anywhere, so head for Aquaviva and look for the ICM gas station, and make a right at the gas station, continue up the hill and you'll find...
