It is located less than 4 miles away from the New River(which is the 2nd oldest river in the world!). When walking up you will see a spacious backyard over looked by a porch perfect for coffee in the morning. The house has hardwood floors through out and tons of original charm. Fully furnished house; 3 bedrooms (1 queen, 2 full & 2 twins) 1 full bathroom with a tiled walk in shower, living room with flat screen tv & wi-fi access, dinning room and fully equipped kitchen with a stove, full size fridge, coffee pot & all cooking needs. Charcoal grill provided for your use but coals are not included. Fire pit in back yard feel free to bring your own fire wood or you can purchase bundles of fire wood once you arrive! I love that it's a family home he's sharing with visitors to the area. It was convenient to the wedding we attended at the Summit on Cross Mountain. Comfy and cozy, with a wonderful view. Bob was amazing and made us feel right at home. The cottage is located within a close driving range of several quaint NC towns, Boone, West Jefferson and Sparta. We had a great time exploring these little treasures and getting to meet and talk with the locals. Some awesome places to dine in these areas. Some of our favorites are The Local in Boone, Boondocks in West Jefferson, and The Pines in Sparta. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway then this is the place for you.
