Over the years, it has undergone multiple renovations, but its latest owners have lovingly stripped it back to celebrate its former glory. Behold the original brick and timber details, gracing the home with character. Beautiful high ceilings and chandeliers exude the charm of its wonderful heritage, taking you on a journey through time. Space Welcome to your home away from home! As you enter the home, you'll be greeted by a warm and inviting space featuring a formal dining area, a cosy living room with a TV, a fully equipped kitchen and a convenient separate toilet. Head upstairs to find two lovely queen bedrooms, each with access to the balcony behind charming plantation shutters. From here, you can enjoy a picturesque view of the bustling city of Launceston and watch the world go by. The back door leads to the carports, ensuring easy access and secure parking for your convenience. Situated on one of the main streets in Launceston's CBD, this home offers free parking, Netflix, and WiFi, ensuring you have everything you need for an incredible stay. Accommodating up to 7 guests, the house features two queen bedrooms upstairs (both with balcony access), and a third bedroom with bunk beds and an additional single bed. The Neighborhood Launceston is a beautiful city blending both city and country charms, with heritage streetscapes, a slice of urban wilderness and gourmet food and drink available at every turn. Nestled amongst these iconic buildings, you will find many delicious cafés and restaurants, an array of shops and boutiques, a vast range of cocktail bars and pubs and many amenities and recreational spaces. Launceston has many things to see and do including the vibrant Harvest Market every Saturday morning, the Princess Theatre, hosting local, interstate, and international performances, the Star Theatre for a cosy, cinematic experience, and many pubs and venues that host amazing live, musical talents. Often referred to as the 'Lygon’ Street of Launceston, you will find some of Launceston’s most popular eateries and amenities on the illustrious Charles Street. George St is also known as ‘Eat Street’ with a range of restaurants, bars, gin houses and cafes to cater for most tastes. The Cataract Gorge is a spectacular natural formation where you can enjoy long and short walks, fresh water swimming basins, the world's longest single-span chairlift and vibrant peacocks! An additional, unique way to experience this attraction is via the Tamar Cruise vessel, which cruises through the waters that carve between the rocky formations. The City Park which is known for its beautiful oak tree gardens, playground for the children, a plant-filled conservatory and cheeky snow monkeys. Nearby, you will find Penny Royal World. This attraction provides you and the family with a fabulous day out, with boat rides, rock climbing, rope courses, and more found here. There are bus stops located nearby outside Princes Square Park and the Launceston General Hospital. It is easy to spot – painted with the black and brown stripes of a Tasmanian Tiger! INTERCITY BUS SERVICE: Tasmania has you covered with a variety of intercity bus services to make your city-to-city travels a breeze. If you're heading to or from Launceston and the southern spots like Hobart, make sure to swing by the 'Kinetic' website.
