Fly into Puerto Maldonado and from there it's a 45min boat ride down the Madre de Dios River (an Amazon River tributary). Our cabana was quite comfy, especially so considering we were in the Amazon Jungle. A limited (and sketchy) power supply made charging batteries tricky, but it all worked out. Sun-warmed-water for showers also worked out given the high humidity and warm afternoons. The food was more than decent and the daily excursions were lots of fun.
