"Fiquei no hostel em duas ocasiões diferente, na 1ª vez ocorreu tudo bem, quarto limpo e cheiroso, roupa de cama limpa, nota 10\. Na segunda hospedagem foi horrível, faltou energia 3 vezes o que me pensar sair do hostel, já era noite e pensei que passaria a noite no escuro, demorava em média de 5 a 10 minutos pra voltar a normalidade, a roupa de cama tinha aspecto de sujo, não gostei. "

![This great little ecolodge makes for a nice 3-4 day side trip if you are visiting Cusco and the Sacred Valley. Fly into Puerto Maldonado and from there it's a 45min boat ride down the Madre de Dios River (an Amazon River tributary).

Our cabana was quite comfy, especially so considering we were in the Amazon Jungle. A limited (and sketchy) power supply made charging batteries tricky, but it all worked out. Sun-warmed-water for showers also worked out given the high humidity and warm afternoons. The food was more than decent and the daily excursions were lots of fun. "From start to the end it was an experience we needed. We felt like queen and king. Room is super clean and there were no flys in it. It is December but temperature was not hot or cold just perfect. They gave us free organic mosquito repellent oils and free water bottles to keep. There were free water in the room every morning but if you purchase at the restaurant it is 12 seol. Food is free. Breakfast is a simple but healthy and enough. Cheese, salami, olive, tomato, couple fruits and cereal. Lunch and dinner you order from menu and it is yummy. Eco yours included 3 times a day but fishing piranha is an all day tour and 2000 seol per couple. Everyone was super nice and helpful. They made everything perfect for us. I recommend this place it is safe and we saw houling monkeys from our cabin and some birds. "

"Posadas was a lovely jungle lodge. The staff were friendly and helpful with amazing service. Beautiful setting and Rainforest Expeditions made our transportation and excursions smooth and flawless. Food was fresh and delicious satisfying to the taste buds. The jungle sounds were wonderful to wake up to and helped to send you off to sleep. I highly recommend and would love to return sometime. A lot of wildlife just around the lodge."

"Half an hour a at from Puerto Maldonado by boat , the place is lovely, with river view and a feel of the jungle without venturing too far. We felt like we got a good insight into the area, with included excursions on the river and into the jungle. Our guide Yuri, who was with us throughout, was very knowledgeable and good. The food was great and they had several veg options . Well stocked bar too . The rooms are spacious and comfortable. We had a great stay."
