Great getaway

The property is located in a very quiet area with a fantastic view of Toxaway Falls. It is tastefully furnished with a well-equipped kitchen. The owner was very helpful with information about the area.

Perfect getaway

We arrived at the home, got in with ease, went down to the living room, looked out the glass doors and the view was unlike any other. The waterfall was right there. The home was beautiful. I enjoyed sitting on the porch every morning and evening listening to the waterfall. The owner was wonderful. Couldn’t have asked for a better vacation.

Cozy Perch Over Waterfalls

This condo has everything you need to recover from modern life: a wonderful fireplace (gas logs); a deck overlooking a massive, soul-soothing waterfall; snuggly blankets & easy chairs with work trays; and restful quiet. We saw The Three Bears on our way in & a white squirrel among the rhododendrons. The Grove Park Inn in Asheville was an easy drive for dining at the Blue Ridge, & nearby Brevard has some of the cutest boutiques in the mountains.

Beautiful & Wonderfully relaxing place

The pictures on the website don't do it justice - it's more then advertised. Very well appointed unit, you feel like you have come home ! The view of the falls from the deck is wonderful - nothing better then sitting on the deck with the falls, the hummingbirds and a cup of coffee watching the sun light up the skies. We are already looking for dates to return. THANK YOU to the owners.

The perfect spot for a mountain getaway

We came to the area for an anniversary weekend getaway from Charlotte. It was a perfect base to do hiking in the Toxaway, Cashiers, and Highlands areas. The view of the falls from the deck was amazing, and we loved waking up to them each morning and ending our day with a glass of wine on the deck. Highly recommend hiking down and back to see the entire length of the falls - it's about 0.65 miles round trip from the condo to the falls. Our only issue was the wifi would cause the tv to buffer quite a bit and our phones to lag, but that's to be expected in the mountains. Thank you for the fabulous stay!

Everything We Wanted and More!

Unbelievable stay with beautiful Waterfall right off the porch. We were able to just sit relax, cook and watch hummingbirds the entire time. Upscale accommodations with everything we needed. Guide books, restaurants and thing to do were right-on. Found places I never knew about. Excellent host and caretaker close by to tend to our needs. Timely communications before, during and after our visit. We will definitely return when visiting Lake Toxaway, Cashiers and Highlands.Friendly, welcoming. Impressive wi-fi, movies and entertainment! Such a nice visit that we will come back just to escape for a few days or longer. Love this place.

We arrived on a Thursday-Sunday, and this was a perfect size for the 2 of us. It would also be a good vacation rental for a family of 4 or two couples for a long weekend or even a week. The condominium was very clean and Jim had already thought of everything that someone might forget to pack, like usb plugs and a hairdryer! The view of the falls from the deck is amazing. The Tv has streaming options and a good selection of channels. The remote control fireplace was a nice touch and great for cooler nights. Location was great and central to everything. We have family in Brevard but also wanted to explore Lake Toxaway, Cashiers, and Highlands. There are several good places to eat close by. Jim made checking in and out a breeze. We didn’t have to pick up or drop off a key at a second location. We were provided a code via text and drove straight in. Was very easy. We’ll definitely play to stay again in the future.

The view was fantastic. The accommodations had everything you could ever want in the kitchen. The mattresses were extremely comfortable and the place was beautifully cleaned. I will be back!

We were in almost immediate contact with our host! He sent a very detailed welcome text and worked back and forth finding us places to eat, who to call, etc.

Perfect getaway

My cousin and I needed to get out of the city for a few days. This property was lovely. Coffee or wine on the deck overlooking the waterfall was simply amazing. The sound of the waterfall worth it all by itself! Neat as a pin with lots of thought given to convenience (chargers for any sort of device were everywhere), as well as a detailed welcome email with everything you need to make your stay great in the area. Our host was responsive and accommodating. WIll stay again, hopefully in the fall when the leaves are changing.

Great Getaway

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Cascades the proximity to Toxaway Falls made the stay extra special. It so relaxing to return to the condo after a long day of hiking and listen to the falls while reading on the deck. The condo itself was extremely clean and had a well stocked kitchen. The wifi was excellent and we appreciated the Fubo streaming service. As at least one other reviewer noted the cell reception is poor for AT&T costumers. We we able to get around that by using Whats Ap to make and receive calls. We would definitely stay here again if we return to the area.

Romantic overlook adventure

Cozy rustic with a view of toxaway falls to enjoy.the apartment very comfortable and supplied well. Great location for Boating fishing tubing waterfall hiking trails which we loved. Plus shopping in cashiers and highlands there r several breweries and lots restaurants

Paradise in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Great location, great condo. Very well supplied with anything you would need. Owner is also helpful. The waterfalls in your back yard are an added bonus. Located close to many hiking trails, restaurants and waterfalls.

Cascade bldg unit #2

We had a absolutely wonderful time, hated to leave. The view from the deck or living room of the falls is just breath taking. The walk down to the bottom of the falls gives you another amazing view. The kitchen is well stocked, plenty of towels, king bed was comfy with great sheets! The location of the condo is between Brevard & Cashiers on route 64. A variety of hiking trails not far away. The photos are very accurate on the website. Owners welcome book, was a wealth of information on the unit along with BLD options around there, and sites & things to do in the area. The only down side is that you need to go down a flight of stairs to get to the front door. We will be returning for another visit!

Perfect mountain getaway

This condo in the mountains was perfect for us! The view from back porch is spectacular! It was so cozy, well stocked, peaceful and near to many towns including Highlands and Cashiers. We did several hikes, two of which are right next to the condo, as well as hiking at Gorges State Park. The property owner is so nice, attentive, helpful and communication about the area and attractions exceeds expectations! Thank you for a spectacular weekend in your lovely condo.! Beautiful Mountain Getaway!

The pictures don't do this place justice -- it's amazing! The view from the condo is exactly as you see it here... right on the falls, cozy, warm, and inviting. The condo was exceptionally clean and one of the most well-stocked rentals we've ever used. The double glass doors onto the balcony provided the most relaxing views and sounds of the falls, and we enjoyed watching all the birds at the feeders while we ate our meals at the dining table. The roar of the falls was soothing to the soul, and we loved sitting outside listening to them, but were also glad that the they were easily quieted by closing the glass doors when it came time for bed. Both bedrooms and bathrooms are very spacious and comfy. The gas fireplace was easy to use and provided a welcoming ambiance after a long day of sightseeing. We've visited the Brevard/Cashiers/Pisgah Forest area several times and were looking for a place that was central to all the attractions. This was definitely it! We hiked to quite a few local waterfalls, shopped in Brevard and Asheville (Biltmore Village), and drove the full length of the southern Blue Ridge Parkway, all in a week's time. Unfortunately, the private trail on the property to the bottom of Toxaway Falls was too wet and steep for me to navigate due to current physical limitations, but we talked with a few guests in the condo next door who had managed it and they said the view was spectacular. As AT&T customers, cell service was spotty at best (in both the condo and the surrounding area), but the wifi worked perfectly. Both Jim and his housekeeper were very easy to communicate with and responsive to our needs. We definitely hope to stay here again on our next trip to North Carolina!!

The view was work the money alone! We hiked up and down the entire span of Toxaway falls, played in the swimming hole, enjoyed the hummingbirds, and listened to the peaceful sound of God’s water park. Thank you Jim!

Great condo/cabin in Highlands/Cashiers area

This condo exceeded our high expectations. A really well stocked and supplied kitchen (with gas fired grill on the deck). View from the living area and deck was spectacular, with an accompanying murmur from the falls. Living area was furnished with two great recliners, and the long couch recited in two places. Great beds and plenty of towels. Fireplace, large screen TV, Alexa, fast internet. Many interesting things to do/see between Highlands and Brevard, more than enough good restaurants without having move into the high end venues. Property manager was immediately available for a very minor problem with the shower handle. The very best of our VRBO experiences here and abroad;
