"Was a great place to stay lots of stuff to do outside and in the game room. Playing Jenga was awesome, It’s a nice set up. The golf cart is a nice added bonus. People are friendly around the neighborhood. It was nice to be able to dock our pontoon that we rented. I Will definitely recommend coming here. We will be back."

"We decided to have a weekend trip before the school year started and this could not have gone better. The property was well maintained and had the most beautiful of the sunsets over the lake. Small and cozy, slept all 4 of us comfortably and the location was great."

"Our stay exceeded expectations! In fact it was declared ‘the best vacation ever’ by many. It’s truly a unique property. Telling friends we had rented ‘an island’ was fun & having an entire island to ourselves was fabulous. We had 3 generations with 8 children ages 1-13. My son’s family with the 1 & 3 year olds stayed in the little house. The littles were in bed by 7 but a baby monitor (that they brought) transmitted easily to the main house allowing an evening of fun with no worry about noise! This was very unique - different from the large single houses we have rented previous summers.The island’s perimeter is very natural (stones and vegetation) - providing good fishing spots and a wonderful ‘fence’ to keep the younger ones away from the water’s edge. The spacious yard provided room for many family yard games. The lakeside deck with comfortable & functional tables & chairs became a popular gathering spot! The house is beautiful inside with an island large enough for family meals & grandchildren’s craft time. The kitchen was well equipped & 2 dishwashers and 2 washer/dryers were appreciated. A unique feature was the firepit surrounded by Adirondack chairs. Nightly campfires & a breakfast cooked over the fire were amazing - a combination of modern convenience and being a part of nature. Lake activities were a delight - tubing and sunset cruises! We rented a pontoon from Spend-a-Day who kept a slip for our mainland trips. Overall a memorable week!!"

"Everything was great! All amenities that one could ask for . Plenty of towels, plenty of space both indoor and outdoor. Despite this being an old house it has all modern amenities and the A/C was able to handle the 90 degree weather all weekend. The internet and tv were just as smooth. The view and porch are amazing even when it was hot and sunny you can sit out there shaded by the giant tree and umbrella just watching boats or people riding bikes in the neighborhood go by. The surrounding area was wonderful evening stroll around the neighborhood in the area so friendly and inviting. The bathroom situation is quirky but adds charm and definitely not something to deter a stay. Everyone keeps their privacy because there are enough doors to accommodate. We loved our stay would recommend for a small family or girls weekend. Men’s weekend fishing … perfect . Thanks for sharing your house we’d consider coming back to Indian lake and staying again."
