Great for a couple. Gorgeous views!

Perfect for a couple, spacious enough. Patio area over the carport gave great views of the lake and surrouding areas. Walking path that goes around the lake was just across the street. No motor boats on the lake except the pontoon boat giving tours, led to a quiet peaceful setting to be enjoyed. We'll be planning another visit to the area soon.

I would not recommend this property to anyone! The biggest problem we encountered among many was the dampness and musty odor that we dealt with the entire stay! The home definitely needs a dehumidifier. Anyone thinking about this property needs to know about the stairs going up to the property it is poorly lit and missing handrails very very dangerous.! we also dealt with the stench of a dead cat that was in the carport, that Vaccasa sent someone to take care of, however, the odor persisted, and we could not sit outside and enjoy the view of the lake.

Hidden cottage

TV had to be replaced with an antenna small TV which would not give a constant signal. No view of lake from kitchen window or table outside in front of window. No lighting on outside steps leading to unit. A lot of work is needed outside of unit to clear bushes so guests can see lake.

Rugs and couch need shampooing. Front door needs a curtain. Bed frame too large for room bruised shin 2-3 times running into sharp bed edge

Lovely place

We enjoyed our stay at English Roses. Just right for the two of us. The lake is beautiful and the area was so nice. The only drawback was there were quite a few steps up to the cottage. If you have any problems with steps, this could be an issue.

Great place!

This place was so nice and clean. Quiet with a beautiful view! I will say I wish there were extra blankets but other then that, I have nothing but great things to say! I would definitely come back and bring my wife.
