If at least one of the cabins is made fully accessible it would be great for those who have mobility issues. Twin Pine Lodge is a perfect family oriented getaway location. The proprietors, Anthony and Wendy, have created an environment for families to enjoy time away together and are attentive to every need a family may have. The facility boasts a 1st class swimming pool, outdoor and indoor games (volley ball, basketball, ping pong, etc.), and is pet friendly as well. During our stay, both Anthony and Wendy took an active (but not intrusive!) interest in every family on site, and ensured that all the families large/small and young/old, enjoyed themselves without distraction. This is not a college party resort, but a well maintained facility with all the amenities. Our stay was in a rustic, three season cabin, with all the basics. The site is located 10 minutes from Chestertown dining and grocery shopping, and a 2 minute walk to the Loon Lake Beach.
