Kaanapali beach, famous for incredible beauty and some of Maui's best snorkeling is only a few minute walk from the property. Beautiful gardens and 2 sparkling swimming pools are only steps away from the front door. Our one-of-a-kind, completely remodeled cottage offers the most spectacular views on the entire property. Views of both Molokai and Lanai can be seen from this spacious, custom designed 2 bedroom 2 bath cottage. Vaulted ceilings, large modern kitchen, beautiful lanai with wrap around "hurricane" windows and open "great room" complete this treasure in paradise. State of the art sound system, TV and superior Wi-Fi coverage only add to the Aloha experience. The entire premises has been meticulously remodeled including both bathrooms and bedrooms and appointed with custom island furniture and accessories throughout. Top of the line mattresses and bedding complete the perfect day. Although the cottage does not have air conditioning, the numerous ceiling fans and extensive windows create a pleasant "airy" feel in any weather condition. The cottage was well appointed and cozy. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook- in whether it was an oven baked dish or kabobs on the bbq. The beds were super comfy with just the right amount of blankets. And by the way, don’t let the fact that the cottage has no AC deter you. I was a little skeptical when we booked but there are plenty of windows and we felt very comfortable throughout our stay. As a few other reviews have mentioned, there was some highway noise but it pretty much stopped overnight. I am a light sleeper and didn’t feel that the noise ever interfered with my sleep. The location was exceptional for our needs,,,close proximity to all the great beaches and tourist spots but a secluded hideaway to escape to at the end of the day. Terry was very responsive to email inquiries throughout the booking process and our stay. The complex is under construction - not near this cottage, but others. We were without water (no showers, toilets, etc.) for 10 hours, which I don't think is the norm, but did impact one of our days. The TV remote wasn't working - which we were advised of before our arrival - not a big deal. But the maintenance person came to work on the TV unannounced, which was surprising for my family. The view was spectacular and the sunsets incredible. We felt very comfortable and relaxed during our stay. The location is just minutes away from the beach and a nice Beach Walk to many options for dining out and shopping. Although with the nicely equipped kitchen you could also cook and eat in. Terry responded quickly when we didn't have hot water and had the hot water tank replaced as soon as possible. The cottage is very spacious and equipped with many extras in the kitchen. The bathrooms could use some more towels and wash rags, but we were able to wash the existing towels throughout the week because there's a washer/dryer and laundry detergent. There's no AC which bothered some in our party, but the many windows and fans quickly cooled down the cottage each night. Overall, the beds are very comfortable, communication with the owner is excellent, and we would stay there again. ##### Deann A. It has one of the best stocked kitchens to do your own cooking along with a ton extras for your beach adventures. We stayed 7 days with our 6 and 8 years girls and they never once said they were bored. They entertained themselves in the pool that is right out the back door and chased endless butterflies that little lizards that grace the grounds. Having 2 bedrooms and 2 baths with plenty of space to relax throughout the house, we were able to find our own space to kick back and relax. If you are scrolling through looking for places to stay on Maui, just stop here and book Terry’s place! We will definitely book it again the next time we come back. Today is our last day and we are packing up to leave but with the convenience of having a washer and dryer on site everything is going to be washed, dried, and folded when we get home tomorrow morning after a red eye flight. ##### Bruce C. The house was very clean and comfortable with terrific sunset and ocean views! The kitchen was very well stocked with every item needed for cooking gourmet meals! The pool was heated, clean and only a few feet away from the house and was fairly private. The house is in a very private, safe and quiet neighborhood and all the residents were friendly that we met. The location is perfect- across from a beautiful beach. Only wish the parking was slightly closer to the house entrance. Will definitely be back! Fabulous location and all as advertised !!! Crazy good ocean views from the very spacious sun porch !! Very private setting & grounds. Private association pool was just steps from cottage ... and was great alternative for non-beach days !! Host Terry Bell was very thoughtful and informative as we navigated coming to West Maui after August fires. Most restaurants and stores were re-opened and locals appreciated thoughtful tourist returning to support their local economy.
