"My experience with the woman in the office was really good. She was very friendly and understanding. I didnt realize that I had accidentally taken the wrong room until the morning when I went to return the key. I was booked in room 12 but mistakenly took room 14. It was late, and room 14 wasn't looked so it opened for me when I turned the key, otherwise I would have realized my mistake. My apologies to the guest who was booked for room 14 and believed they had double booked the room. Otherwise the room was clean and quiet. The sheets/towels were fresh and clean. And the bed was comfortable."

"Overall the place is beautiful. Loved the location becuase it was close enough to Sauble but far enough for peaceful nights by the fire. We just had an issue with dishwasher that leaked but other than that everything was great. Thanks Dorothy."

"A bit run down rooms, but convenient location near Sauble beach. Rooms were clean and a kitchenette was useful. Very nice amenities on the hotel property on the river. Suggest extending the hours to rent the boats and kayaks, guests might use them early morning or late day, as people are at the beach usually when you have the rentals open and you are closed when people would be most of the time at the hotel and could rent."

"We had a great stay at the property. The surrounding were peaceful the cottage was comfortable and had plenty of room. However, we did encounter issues with the flies,that made it difficult to fully enjoy the indoor and outdoors.We would definitely recommend to stay here.SA"

"The red door cottage was a perfect place for our annual family get together. Location area is both quiet and private surrounded by beautiful forest and nature. Distance to beach and day trips to hiking trails and Tobermory was ideal.Cottage was fully equipped, clean and spacious. We really enjoyed our nightly family time together by the campfire roasting treats, laughing about our daily adventure and star gazing. (Wood included) Carl and Dianne were amazing hosts!Greatly appreciated the cottage was dog friendly-"

"Would highly recommend the red bay lodge.Cabin was clean and comfortable with excellent food served on site.The friendliest of hosts.The owner Gilbert a gent.Nice fire at nightime and just a short walk to lovely lake and beach.Look forward to returning next year"
