The room was larger than expected with very good amenities. Great hairdryer. The hotel has a good bar for a drink at the end of the day. This property is close to many restaurants and tourist attractions are only a short walk away.

Everything was perfect. The personal super kind and always suggesting help or if we need anything. The pool is amazing. Breakfast super food quality and diverse from salty to sugary breakfast. The room are very mice and well designed. And no place can be more at the center of the old port to enjoy the atmosphere and so many things to do by walk distance. We will return for sure

Lovely location by the old harbour, ideal for a drink on the front although slightly challenging with a car but they do have parking nearby. Room a little small especially the toilet but nice overlooking the pool which is very nicely heated enough to be pleasant to use. A problem with the lovely powerful shower drenching the bathroom floor and out onto the carpet on first day, reported to reception in the morning and said that although we had said no need to clean we needed to change that. The housekeeper didn’t come to clean up until late afternoon and then we didn’t see them again even though we left the clean me sign on the door, so no service or coffee top ups etc. Breakfast buffet has a good range but the hot food was cold and it’s a cramped area. Kept fit by having to climb three flights of stairs as the life broke on the second day and wasn’t fixed for the remainder of our stay.

We stayed for three nights in a third-floor suite. The location is fantastic, and while street musicians on the boulevard bring some noise, the windows do an admirable job keeping it well-dampened. Unfortunately, the room maintenance and service fell well short of four-star standards. * Room Practicality: There were no bedside power outlets for charging devices, nowhere to hang damp towels, and wardrobe storage was limited to just six hangers inside a rather cranky closet. * Air Conditioning: The unit was overdue for a service and only blew mildly cool air. Had our stay coincided with a heatwave, the room would have been unbearable. * Bathroom Hazards: Despite a recent renovation, the heavy overhead shower fitting had pulled away from the wall, making every shower feel like a gamble. * Unreliable Lift: The elevator felt straight out of the 1940s, rattled ominously, and broke down entirely for one full day of our stay. Individually, these issues are minor, but collectively they add up. When we flagged them to the hotel's small team, we were met with a dismissive "it is what it is" attitude and zero corrective action. Given the four-star rating and price point, the lack of upkeep and customer care was disappointing.

My second stay at this hotel (Yachtman) and they always outdo themselves. The rooms are fabulous and super clean. Their cleaning ladies are always helpful and respectful of our privacy, accepting to assist but not enter. The establishment is dog friendly and right on the docks- absolutely fantastic

Great location in La Rochelle

Right by the harbour in La Rochelle. Great for trying a range of bars and restaurants. Lovely hotel with great staff who are extremely helpful. Hotel has a lovely pool area, quite unusual for the centre of La Rochelle. Hotel has a section of a nearby car park which is very secure. You'll need to check in at the hotel before accessing the parking, we would have appreciated that information beforehand. Would definitely stay there again when in La Rochelle.

The location is excellent, the staff are lovely people and made this a lovely place to stay. When travelling for pleasure on holidays genuinely nice people at reception make such a difference to your experience. I’d highly recommend.

Loved the hotel, perfect location and nice room. The hotel has some renovation work going on otherwise I would rate it very highly. Staff are really very nice. There are only two negatives - it is a little bit complicated to park in their car park but ok when you know how, and I would have preferred to have real cups and glasses in the room rather than flimsy paper ones which were too hot to hold to drink the coffee. Located in the harbour, walking distance around the town centre.

Lovely hotel in La Rochelle

The hotel is in a beautiful location overlooking the port. The bedrooms are excellent, very clean and comfortable and have everything you need. The breakfast is really great, it has pure orange juice, hot and cold food and plenty of room. The room that the breakfast is held in needs serious updating. The carpets and walls are all stained and there is a odd small there. The pool is lovely on a hot day but there are not enough sun beds which didn't affect us as the weather was not good enough to sit out at.

Great location for old harbour

We booked the junior suite and it was very comfortable and roomy. Was not expecting to see individual plastic toiletries which were fairly basic- no shower cap. Was expecting glasses for drinking instead of paper cups. Glasses were provided upon request. Plugs in sinks not working and reported. Shame there was no tea/ coffee provided in room as with other French hotels. Staff were excellent and really helpful in all areas of our stay. Perfect location for the old harbour.
