"This hotel was incredible. The room was a comfortable size, beautifully decorated. The bed and pillows were so comfy. They decorated it in rose petals and balloons for my birthday as a driving surprise ( after my partner asked them) The outside of the building was so intricately decorated in carved sandstone. The pool was refreshing and a most welcome pleasure. Views of the huge fort looming above, while we are in the restaurant, were like something from a movie. The boys in the upstairs...

"The hotel has been open for +10 years and is currently expanding. The design of the hotel is on three levels, with quiet, shady, cool corners as well as sunny rooftop dinning areas. "The hotel is amazing, housed in a centuries old palace and an easy walk to the main fort. Our luxury suite facing part of the museum was just beautiful. The service was excellent, the room clean, the restaurant has an extraordinary view at night. Our only concern was the lovely pool was infested by pigeons and covered in scum. After a very hot day exploring Jaisalmer that was disappointing. But it will be a lovely memory. "

"Excellent location at the heart of town. Very clean and well maintained facility built with stone, similar to what the kings of the bygone era would do. This property is accessible by car unlike many old havelis around the town. Vie from the hotel room of the Golden Fort was mesmerizing and you can have the view from their rooftop dining too. They have tours to deserts and other locations that are safe and family friendly. I would come back to this special Fort Hotel if there's an opportunity in the horizon."
