"Very poor and old infrastructure and charged two to three times most other hotels in the area. TV did not work, WIFI intermittent. Breakfast poor. No bar at 8-9 in the evening, apparently not since last year!! Hotel with restaurant without a bar!!!!! Bed poor. Shower and bathroom dated from 50's and then not good. Bedroom door did not close without locking. Could go on but extremely disappointed and financially it seemed like a fraud."

When is the best time to go to Koru?
The best time to visit Koru is during the dry seasons, which run from December to February and again from June to September.

Travellers looking for pleasant weather for outdoor activities, such as exploring the local tea plantations or visiting nearby natural attractions, will find these months ideal. The clear skies and lower humidity make for comfortable conditions for sightseeing and enjoying the scenery.

For those interested in wildlife viewing in the surrounding areas, the dry season is particularly beneficial as animals tend to congregate around water sources, making them easier to spot.
