Room was very small, making it virtually impossible to open a suitcase for a change of clothes. Air conditioning was via a portable unit, which had to vent into the corridor. This meant that to have anything like an acceptable temperature in the room, the door had to be left open all night. There is a glass partition between the shower/toilet and the beds, giving very little privacy. However close you are to your travelling companion, you are unlikely to want to be in such close and open proximity to them when they carry out their morning ablutions. With the air con unit plugged in, there was one other plug socket, so we were unable to charge 2 phones at a time. The host was an absolute gentleman, and if i was 9 years old i would undoubtedly have enjoyed the adventure; but as an adult looking for a restful night before onward travel, this place was lacking for the price paid. I have pictures to illustrate my points, but the Hotels.com site will not let me upload them. ##### David Stayed 1 night in Jul 2024 Verified ### 4/10 Poor #### SUK KYU Sep 29, 2025 Disliked: Property conditions & facilities 호텔 찾는데 너무 고생했습니다. 급한 마음에 사진만 보고 선택을 하였는데, 알고보니 물위에 떠있는 배아래 숙소였더라구요. 호텔 주인이 운영하는 식당 음식 맛은 훌륭했고 배아래 선실의 침실은 색다른 경험이었습니다. 선상 숙소라 젖은 수건이 마르지 않은 것은 이해할수 있었고 좁은 공간도 이해할 수 있었습니다. 단지, 불편한 점은, 토,일요일은 그 배를 지키는 운영자가 없다는 점입니다. 주중엔 관리자 1명이 1층? 선실에서 잠을 자는듯 하였는데, 주말엔 아무도 없이 손님만 덩그러니 잠을 청해야 합니다. 이 부분은 매우 놀라웠고 마침 주말 비바람이 몰아쳤는데, 배가 더욱 출렁였고 마음이 매우 불편했습니다. 밤10시가 넘으면 숙소 손님전용 출입문이 따로 있는데, 부주의로 카드키를 떨어뜨렸고 그 카드키는 바로 강물속으로 떨어졌습니다. 주의해야 합니다. 체크아웃시 카드키값을 받지 않아서 마음이 불편했습니다. 주말에도 관리자 1명이라도 선실에 있었으면 좀더 안전한 마음으로 머물지 않을까 생각됩니다. ##### SUK KYU Stayed 4 nights in Sep 2025 Verified ### 8/10 Good #### Wilco Aug 12, 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities Fijn verblijf gehad tijdens Alcatraz metal festival, vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Frühstück entweder klein (Baguette, Croissant, Butter, Marmelade, Kaffee/Tee) oder groß (nicht ausprobiert). Par contre, le drap du dessous dans le lit etait taché de façon suspecte à plusieurs endroits donc j'ai du dormir recroquevillé dans un coin du lit.
