The Aloha House offers plenty of space to gather with family and friends. The main house comes with 4 master bedrooms (1 king, 3 queens), each with their own private, full bathroom–all recently renovated. There’s also a queen-size aero bed for additional travelers. Out back, behind the main house, you will find the ohana/cottage. This charming getaway comes with 1 bedroom (king), 1 bathroom, mini kitchen, and a living area with pull-out queen-size sofa bed. Adjacent to the cottage, a small bonus “office” building is the perfect place for telecommuting or playing video games and watching movies on the large screen smart TV. The garage has been tastefully converted to a game room, outfitted with ping pong table, bar area, ice maker, and comfy lounge furniture. And let’s not forget the 6-person hot tub at the center of it all. What a great place to soak, as you look up at the palm trees and the stars. The Aloha House is located a short 5-minute walk to the fabulous beach fronting the nearby Sheraton, and great snorkeling at adjacent Koloa Landing. Enjoy the ever-present sound of Waikomo Stream, which rushes by into a waterfall across the street. Catch magnificent sunsets along the beach wall, then stroll to dinner and nearby upscale shopping at the Shops at Kukui‘ula. The kitchen was great and there were lots of little conveniences, like beach chairs, snorkel gear, etc in the shed.The downfall of this property is the frequent visitors for maintenance/repair work. Additionally, several times we were told someone was coming that didn’t show at the time they were supposed to be there. Taking care of maintenance before guests arrive would be far more advantageous. ##### Tammy M. We came for my mom’s 80th birthday and we had 11 people total in the house and we fit just fine. The kids (ages 16, 15, 14, 13, 10) were happy to be out in the guest house and we had 6 adults in the main house, everyone was comfortable and happy. The kitchen was big enough to make our meals, we even made a Thanksgiving ham on the grill outside. We were able to walk to the beach if we were going for a quick visit or we drove the few minutes to Kiahuna beach and there was ample parking. The shopping center next door was a quick walk too. We enjoyed the hot tub and game room in the evenings. Coffee on the front and back lanai. This beautiful home is so close to everything in Poipu, beaches, snorkeling and the historic town of Koloa. We walked to the Sheraton to catch a sunrise and saw turtles in the waves. The Athletic club was a great time for all, pool with slide and amazing pulled pork nachos, pina coladas and Mai Tais! The additional cottage was a huge bonus. It was located close to so many attractions that we enjoyed, which allowed us to stay in the area without feeling the need to venture out beyond the Poipu area. The home was spacious and well appointed with awesome support from the staff. Vicky our host, made sure we could get into the property easily. They helped us get additional equipment we needed such as a playpen and a shower chair. We would definitely stay here again. The location was close to many activities that we enjoyed, especially the Poipu Athletic Club. ##### Thomas T. It is in a neighborhood with an apartment building looking over the hot tub and patio so there is no privacy. We had an issue with needing enough sheets for our group and the property manager was not sympathetic at all. It was 10 o'clock at night and we had no linens for the sofa bed and needed it to accomodate everyone (which they knew it was a large group). We were told no one was going to bring us sheets so just figure it out and we would have sheets the next day. Thankfully my daughter insisted and we were given the code to a storage closet and found what we needed. I was disappointed in the way that whole situation was handled. The house was wonderful and as described and the location was very convenient. We had 9 with 4 couples and everyone had their own bedroom with private bath. The location is perfect! Walking distance to the sunset wall, shopping and restaurants. Old Koloa and Poipu Beach less than 5 min drive. Lots of beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, etc. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and for cooking.
