The staff are accommodating and always with a smile on their faces. The complimentary breakfast was delicious, as well, as their other menu items throughout the day. Leider mussten wir einmal umziehen und wurden upgegradet. Die Zimmer sind zwar größer und mit schicker Badewanne, müssen aber noch modernisiert werden. Da ist man sukkzesdive dabei und restauriert nach und nach. Trotzdem haben auch diese Zimmer ihren Charme. Der Strand ist echt hervorragend und auch bei Flut sehr gut nutzbar. Das Restaurant vor Ort ist Klasse. Frühstück ist auch sehr gut. I am travelling solo and have enjoyed my time here in Koh Chang so much I booked an extra few days. The hotel is currently constructing new huts in the middle of the resort so some building work is happening early in the morning but otherwise the resort is great. Good breakfast choices, food in the restaurant is also good but it closes at 9PM only downside. Beds are very comfortable in large rooms but the hot water is not great in the shower - a minor point in a place like Koh Chang. Basics are ok but everything is just a bit worn out. In room A104 wifi did not work well as the signal was very weak so that was a bit of a struggle. Breakfast was also a bit simple and staff was slow to fill missing items. At the time of visit it seemed that most of the customers were russian. A casual beach feel that has been renovated. This is a relaxing casual beach resort, not luxurious hotel. It is a great value for the money. The rooms are big, with great views and recently renovated that are still beach rustic. The beauty about Koh Chang (elephant island) is that it requires a ferry to get there. Жили в номере, а не в бунгало, так что обезьяны не беспокоили. Завтрак обычный, ничего выдающегося, но всё основное есть. Из минусов - до ближайших кафе, аптек, магазинов минут 15 пешком либо по пляжу, либо прямо по проезжей части без тротуара. Сначала напрягает, потом привыкаешь, все так ходят. Персонал не самый расторопный, но стараются. Есть прокат мотоциклов, помогли с такси на пристань. Trött personal. Stannade här 2 nätter direkt efter ankomst i Koh Chang. Trevlig resort som ligger på mysiga stranden Lonely Beach. Alla rum har nära till stranden. Rummen börjar bli riktigt slitna och skulle verkligen behöva renoveras. Servicen är helt ok men många i personalen är trötta. Vi fick fel mat en kväll och när vi påpekade detta blev personen dryg och otrevlig. Dock rättade dom af till detta. Poolen är också sliten och inte speciellt barnvänlig. Personalen hade trevligt bemötande men skulle behöva någon som behärskade engelska i sin närhet. Vi har besökt Siam beach resort ett antal gånger och det är en ganska sliten anläggning men vi kunde konstatera att man har påbörjat en upprustning och hoppas den fortsätter. Frikosten var varirad och bra. Det som inte kändes helt OK var när personalen satt i receptionen och plockade löss ur håret på ett av sina barn.
