Kitchenette was great, beds were comfortable
Was clean , the only draw back was the toilet was so low it was hard for my husband to get off it.
Definitely stay there again
Awesome hotel obvious that owners/managers are concerned with cleanliness and quality. One problem-no pillow cases? Really?

Jenna was not on site but immediately responded to my text asking to check in early. She kindly told me how to access the key to my room, which was clean and tidy. There were plenty of towels, 2 hand-soaps and a hairdryer, but there were no shampoo/conditioner/lotion available. The beds and bedding were comfortable, which my back appreciated! The water pressure was good and plenty of hot water; the tub however had trouble draining and the towel rack was loose and fell apart when I hung my towel. The TV offers many channels and streaming services from which to choose, good variety!
The check in office includes a small kitchen with tables for eating and a sink with dish soap & drainer to wash dishes. The kitchen has all equipment to provide a complimentary breakfast, but the advertisement doesn’t say anything about complimentary breakfast and none was provided during my stay. (Perhaps during the summer they offer this amenity?) They DID have a variety of small snacks on plates available (crackers, granola bars, cookies, etc.) Not horrible for the price, but not an amazing deal either.
Clean, comfortable, bring your own hangers, no breakfast.
The plug in air fresheners were overpowering. We unplugged them and stored in a drawer. The television worked but not the remote only one channel when you turned it on.
Clean rooms, close to Traverse City and Sleeping Bear Dunes. The staff is very responsive to any issues and is very friendly and helpful. They also leave you a little snack bag on the check-in counter which is very thoughtful:) This is my sister and I's favorite place to stay when we are in the area!
Very convenient and nice place to stay with our 2 medium sized dogs for two nights. Location was ideal as we attended the Iceman Cometh mountain bike race, 20 minutes from the start and finish. Dropped review to 4 stars only because the beds were very hard, not plush at all. Other than that, great stay.
It was nice but the beds weren't comfortable they were entirely too soft so I slept on the couch. The staff were nice and the place was nice. I would come here again and they're pet friendly.
This is a vintage motel in rural Michigan a few miles south of Traverse City that has recently been revamped. Very affordable. The suite we rented had a bedroom, tv room, bathroom, and kitchenette (complete with 2 burner stove, sink, and small refrigerator). Equipped with basic dishwater, and a coffee pot and coffee pod supplied for am. WiFi of course and web connected tv.
This was a serendipitous experience, highly recommend if you’re up that way
We stayed for 1 night after visiting Elk Rapids. The location was convenient, the price right, it was clean except for the bathroom sink had some stains. I prefer a firm not a foam mattress. Took us awhile to figure out the light switch was not for an outside light but rather for the microwave!
But when we arrived we spent about 5 sec at the desk picking up our key...easy peasy!
Great place to stay. Newly updated. Clean. Near the road so convenient but also very quiet. No staff, but didn't really need anything. Self check in, self check out. Easy peasy.
Water pressure and drainage good, location good, fluffy white towels, clean shower curtain, comfortable bed, windows that open. Small frig worked. Didn’t use stove. Rooms seemed as clean as could be for the aged condition. Floors are gritty with cut up and mismatched linoleum. No tv in bedroom, water has iron, stains in the tub and sink and also stains your hair. No hair dryer, no breakfast. Room 4 is next to the mechanical room and you can hear noise all night. Did not use heat or air. Didn’t see any housekeeping and office closes an hour earlier than instructions said. Would I stay again? To save money as opposed to extreme TC prices, maybe, but it was still high. I felt safe and there were no bugs so again, maybe. Twenty minutes to TC. We were visiting for a softball tournament. Local restaurants were very good. Kingsley is a great small town with everything we needed.
There was nothing available for breakfast, not even coffee. No staff was available to greet us or accept our payment when we departed. Room was adequate, but the lighting was scant.
