We had an amazing stay and couldn’t have asked for a better vacation home! The property was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a fun and relaxing family getaway. This property and space was fantastic and just what my group and I were looking for in a weekend beach trip to OBX. Communication with ownership was super smooth and fast in addressing anything we needed, right down the street and a short walk from the beach and grocery stores/restaurants, and a gorgeous space in general to share across the whole house. I’d highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a multi-room beach house in Kill Devil Hills!

Our second stay at this property We love it However I was dissatisfied with the full dishwasher of dishes and no soap in bathrooms ( some empty and or watered down), I feel the face clothes should be replaced Also the hosts are awesome and kind responses are quick I would come back once again!

Lovely house. We rented it last minute on easter and the owners had everything ready right away. We didn't think the pool would be opened or heated that early in April but it was, which was huge for the the kids. I spent hours comparing rentals in this area and I've stayed in the OBX many times and this house has everything you would be looking for; hot tub, heated pool, game room and short walk to the beach. Very clean and well maintained.

Perfect spacious beach house!

Great walkable location centrally located. The pool and hot tub were a huge plus and the upstairs living space was perfect for our group hangouts!

Overall great time

We really enjoyed our stay! The home was exactly as described and there was plenty to do in the house and in the area to keep everyone entertained. The home could have been cleaned better and the traffic noise was annoying at times but it wasn’t awful. We’d stay there again.

Fun place to stay!

Mermaid Way was a wonderful place to stay for friends and family. We were at the beach everyday which was only a short walk from the house. There were so many activities at the house and surrounding area we could have used a second week of vacation. A wonderful time was had by all.

Spring Break in the OBX

This house provided an excellent location for a vacation in the OBX! We enjoyed every part of this house from the heated pool to the family fun game room. With a bathroom adjoining every bedroom, it gave our kids some needed alone space. This house will be our go to for future trips to the Outer Banks.

Fantastic Rental

We had an amazing time despite it being cold and rainy. The house was great for two families. Location was perfect, close to the beach, restaurants, and other activities. Would definitely stay at this rental again!

This house was very special and one of our nicest rentals. House was clean. It had many amenities. The large bedrooms and individual bathrooms were a plus for all adult family of 5. It was a few minute walk to the beach and a very sizeable pool. Location was perfect for restaurants and shopping some within walking distance. We've booked the same property for next year.
