The view from the lanai was exceptional!! We have stayed at other condos at the Maui Kamaloe and G-112 has been one of the best. Bed was comfortable and they had all the beach gear needed. The only little detail that would have been helpful was access to a dish rack for doing handwash dishes. Additionally, the fan in the back bathroom seems to need some attention as it is very loud and an buzzy, making it tough to know if it was working well. Would definitely stay again! ##### Tara E. The view was absolutely stunning and perfect for watching the sunset every evening. The unit had everything we needed, from kitchen essentials to beach supplies, and the bed was super comfortable. It was quiet, peaceful, and felt like a home away from home. Our host was incredibly helpful and kind, allowing us a late checkout so we could make the most of our last day before a late flight. My biggest issue was the stale smell, the towels were dirty and stained and so old they should have been thrown out. I was left rags to use as towels which shocked me. The pillows when I took off the pillowcase were brown and stained. It was pretty bad. I had to go out and buy new pillows. The shower was stained and very old. It needs to be totally redone. The coffee pot was also burnt and rusted. I didn’t even want to leave this review because I don’t want to hurt anyone’s business. The condo would be terrific if it was updated and refreshed and the basics like linen, towels and pillows were new 2x a year or at least yearly. ##### Heather K. The condo is clean, comfortable, nicely renovated and well equipped from the kitchen to the beach equipment. There's a nice beach just a short walk away and other beautiful beaches in Wailea within minutes of driving. The home is exactly as pictured. It is very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked as well as a closet full of beach essentials (towels, chairs, coolers, umbrella, etc.). We have visited Maui many times, and we always stay at the Maui Kamaole complex due to its excellent location and the quality of the units. This is the second time we have stayed in this particular condo, and we would definitely stay here again! The condo is lovely, well-stocked, perfectly situated right across from the ocean, and well-managed. The communication with the property owner was easy, prompt, and very friendly. This condo has everything you need for a fantastic vacation. The air conditioning is great, the bed is super comfy, the kitchen is well-stocked, the keyless entry is convenient, and the unobstructed view from the lanai is second to none! We enjoyed many beautiful sunsets right from the lanai. Within the large condo, there is plenty of room to spread out and make yourself at home, and having two bathrooms is really nice. The brand-new washer and dryer are great (no need to pack too many clothes!) and the closet is stocked with all the beach equipment you could possibly need! The grounds are beautifully maintained, there's a reserved parking spot, and the complex is very quiet. We had a wonderful time on our vacation, and we look forward to staying here again the next time we visit the island! ##### Alison R. Séjour de 8 nuits en octobre 2022 ### 8/10 – Bien #### Karen A. 4 oct. 2022 #### Would go again, but some glitches Great location. Could watch the sunset from the backyard. Beach just across the road. Short drive to many awesome snorkeling areas, some of the best snorkeling we've seen. Clear water and lots of different fish. Downsides: - We were given the wrong code to the door lock (not sure if VRBO's or owner's fault). Frustrating when tired after 13 hours of travel. The owner was immediately available by phone. Thank you. - Some of the dishes were dirty (lipstick marks, dried milk on glasses, dried food on others). - Parts of the shades in the bedroom fell off the first time we opened them. They had been attached by paper (didn't appear to be the original attachments, but repairs?) and we weren't sure how to fix them. - A bedside lamp was broken. - Finally, the stove randomly turned off ( on every burner) after a couple minutes. Took 13 minutes to fry an egg! There were instruction manuals for many appliances in the condo, but not for the stove. Looked online but couldn't find a manual for that model. Ended up going to our friend's condo next door to cook. Great location, and acceptable place if you can be overlook some inconveniences. ##### Karen A. I was working remotely from Maui for a week and chose this spot as my home base. It was a great location to go most other places on the island and there are tons of cool spots within a 15 minute drive. Wether you're sipping coffee in the morning or sipping mai-tai's in the evening the view is stunning. ##### Steve G. Séjour de 7 nuits en mai 2022 ### 8/10 – Bien #### Abby J., Madison, WI 19 mai 2022 #### Nearly Perfect We very much enjoyed our stay at this Maui Kamaole property. New modern kitchen, lots of space and a big comfortable bed. AC units are available in the bedroom and living room, we used just the bedroom unit at night for sleeping. The front lanai does have a nice ocean view. The one problem we ran into with this was with a neighboring unit that would blare their TV with the door open, in the evening, which was quite distracting when trying to sit out and quietly stare at the stars after dinner. This person may very well have been a transient guest so this noise may not alway be an issue. We appreciated the washer and drying and 2 bathrooms. While we did not use the living room furniture it looked clean and comfortable. I think the one thing to improve would be for a deep cleaning. Bathroom cabinet doors were very dirty, corners/wood trim had a fair amount of dust, grout pretty dirty and a fair amount of soap scum on shower. It was such a great property and I don't think this issue would stop us from returning but it could improve the experience more. ##### Abby J.
