It features slope views from the private balcony. It also has an updated kitchen and bathroom. Ideally located in River Run Village, you’re just steps away from the high-speed gondola, shopping, restaurants, and local festivities. Black Bear Lodge also offers shared amenities including a sauna and hot tub, and access to Dakota Lodge pool and hot tubs. The entryway has mounted hooks and a closet for your convenience while coming and going throughout the day. The living area features new couches, a flat-screen TV, and a gas fireplace. For extra sleeping arrangements, there is a queen-sized sleeper sofa. Extra sheets and blankets in a closet. Just off the living area is the private balcony that features beautiful ski slope and seating for guests to enjoy. The kitchen is stocked with all the essential cookware and tableware to make a meal away from home. It features granite counters, new hardwood floors, new cabinets, stove-top burners, and stainless steel appliances. The dining area comfortably seats four with two additional seats at the breakfast bar. The bedroom features a king sized bed with ultra premium linens and a TV with a DVD + VHS player. As soon as we entered the room, I walked around to inspect everything...... that's when I became very very mad. The bedroom that was supposed to have 2 beds next to each other at the same level with night-stand in-between was not there. Instead was an up and down bunk bed. This was not what was advertised in the listing.Before I made the reservation, I searched many different listings for a room with 2 side by side beds. NOT UP AND DOWN BUNKS!!!!This was not acceptable. But, we were trapped.... we had no choice.I immediately called and made a complaint.-The kitchen was a little small for 4 adults. Bathrooms were set up well.Balcony was a nice bonus, except for all the construction going on.Disappointed that the hot tub was not available to use.Elevator worked well. Parking garage was easy to use, even with a big vehicle like mine.-Obviously I am upset with the wrong advertising of that room. Nice square footage where the four of us didn't feel like we were on top of each other the whole time. Very little noise from adjacent units.
