It features a private balcony with mountain views and overlooks Dercum Square. Ideally located in River Run Village so you’re just steps away from shopping, restaurants and local festivities. Plus, you're a very short walk from the high-speed gondola. Buffalo Lodge offers shared amenities including 2 hot tubs. The entryway offers mounted hooks and a bench for your convenience while coming and going throughout the day. The living area features a flat screen TV next to a gas fireplace and a queen-sized sleeper sofa. Additional sheets and blankets are in a closet. Off of the living area is access to the private balcony with views of the Gore Mountain Range and of the ice skating rink in winter and putt-putt golf during the summer. The full-sized kitchen is stocked with all the essential cookware and tableware to make a meal away from home. The dining area comfortably seats four. The full bathroom is off the main living area and across from the bedroom. It has a pedestal sink and a shower-tub combination and is stocked with an initial supply of toiletries. The bedroom features a king-sized bed and a mounted flat screen TV. This unit has had many updates, completed in 2023, including new carpet, new paint, new living room and dining area furniture, a new sleeper sofa, and new lighting. Please note, there is underground parking available for ONE vehicle. (For additional sleeping options, air mattresses are available upon request for a small fee.) The worst part was the fact that the elevator wasn’t working from the garage and it was difficult to bring all the heavy gear bags and luggage up to the first floor elevator where you can then go to your room. It would’ve been nice if they had put that in the condo description so you can factor that in when choosing your stay. Had I known I would’ve picked a different location (there were other options near by). I felt bad for two families I saw who struggled with little children going up those stairs. We’ve stayed at several units in this complex and this was the cleanest and nicest for a ski condo. Unfortunately, the elevator from the garage to the lobby was broken (still!). This time was a bit different. Upon arrival, we leaned the elevator from the garage was out of order. This should have been brought to guest’s attention ahead of time. My husband recently had ACL surgery and hiking flights of stairs with luggage was a hassle and just unnecessary. The condo itself was nice, for the most part. The bathroom needs attention.
