I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and enjoyable stay. I would happily stay here again on my next visit!
The property was charming, a little rough around the edges but that added to the charm. If you like the standard chain hotels then this place isn't for you.
The staff were all helpful and friendly.
The pool is small but sufficient for a dip in the heat, one morning we were joined by a large iguana but he just sat in the sunshine.
Breakfast was plentiful and location was perfect, quiet but close to Duval Street.
I would stay again
Unique Bed and Breakfast close to many of the attractions but so quiet and beautifully gated from the traffic and bustle. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly, attentive to you. Very peaceful- a great value!
Weatherstation inn was great. Quaint, clean, and super well located in Key West. We spent so much time on duval street and old Key West. We spent evening walking around Truman Annex looking at the lightning storms. Fort Zach Taylor state park was also in walking distance. The staff was super kind and helpful and generous with their amenities such as water, breakfast treats, coffee, and other snacks.
We also took advantage of the dedicated parking.
This place really was the highlight of the vacation and I will definitely book again.

The location was great, and a quiet neighborhood, but near to everything we wanted to see in Key West.
The location is amazing...quiet neighborhood and walkable to everything,
Amazing
Free parking is also so great in Key West..each room gets one free parking space and it is wonderful, We stayed three nights and did not move the car because we could walk everywhere. Close to Duval street, shopping, restaurants, and all of the attractions. Close to the museums too and the aquarium.
Staff were fabulous, kind helpful and attentive. Lovely
Room was clean and amenities are great. Very pretty room.
They offer cold bottled water which is great in a tropical environment.
I would highly recommend...if we come back to Key West, I will absolutely stay at the Weatherstation Inn.
They do have a few breakfast items..yogurt and bakery items that are nice.
They also offer bottled lemonade.
Just an FYI for those with mobility issues: I do not believe they have an elevator, so if you are on the second floor, the steps are steep. And we hand carried our duffle bags up approximately 25-30 steps. The stairs are also outdoors.
Thank you to the Weatherstation Inn...thank you for a great stay.
Our stay was for two nights in October 2026. This is a beautiful property in a wonderful neighborhood, the Truman Annex section of Key West. The hotel is historic, quite classic, with property filled with tropical plantings, all well maintained. The staff was so friendly, professional, polite and very helpful. Our room was spotless and nicely appointed, with extra thoughtful touches...cozy terry robes, and slippers. Bathroom was lovely, large and cheery. Additional cotton blankets and beach towels were so nice to have on hand. The self-serve breakfast included an assortment of croissant pastries and doughnuts, yogurt, fresh fruit and of course coffee, including hot chocolate and various teas. So delicious! The pool area is charming. Bicycles for rent were just inside the gate. The location couldn't be better. Quiet yet so close to everything. We love staying at historic properties. The Weatherstation Inn did not disappoint! We will definitely be back again. One more thing! Parking is included on property.
We loved this property and location. It’s tucked inside the Truman Annex. Very few cars and surprisingly quiet given its location to Mallory Square. We loved its old Key West charm. The building was once used as our Federal Weather Station. It’s located one block from Truman’s Little White House. We loved the tall ceilings, the colorful furnishings and even the skeleton key to our room. It truly felt like staying with friends in Key West. We can’t wait to go back
The property is very well maintained considering its age, and the location is perfect—just steps away from Duval Street and the harbor. I deducted one star because, given the traditional style of the house, it lacks impact-resistant windows to block out noise, and the roosters woke me up very early. Overall, however, we were very pleased and recommend the property; the neighborhood itself is an attraction.
We loved the location of this property. it was close to Duval Street and the property was beautiful. our room gorgeous. The staff was friendly. We used their pool every day. It was very quiet and was located on a beautiful street. The only issues we had was that the door to the room stuck a bit and we had to try several times to get in. We also had a hard time with the gates to the community when walking back at night. We should have tried the key to see if it would open, It was our fault for not trying it. We ended up walking all the way around which added a mile to our walk.
Excellent and quiet location! Love the atmosphere and staff was professional and welcoming. A few minor things another the bathroom but outer wise it was a great stay. Def keep this in mind when revisiting KW.
