The room was on the bottom floor and right near the pool. The location is the best! Parking is available at the hotel. Not very many spots but we got one and walked everywhere. Scooter rental place is super close. You must try breakfast at Blue Heaven or the Crepe place across from Blue Heaven. We ate at Sloppy Joe’s which was good also. Fishmonster fishing charter was a lot of fun and I found the tickets off of Groupon. You are right downtown in the middle of everything so yes there's going to be noise but we had no problem sleeping and felt very safe in the area! As we checked in after 6 o’clock, the representatives on the hotel hotline, we’re not able to help us. However, the next morning Anthony, one of the hotel, managers, made things right and we ended up having a wonderful time at the hotel with friends and family. The hotel has a great location and is steeped in history.
