GUEST HOUSE CLOSES FOR THE WINTER on October 14, 2025\. We forgot to bring camping chairs for the Monastery Caroling, but we found some in the garage to use! Easy check-in and check-out. Plenty of parking and the beach was right across the street which allowed us to walk over both mornings. The propert features a large kitchen / family room combo area which is where we spent most of our time and made it so everyone could all be in the same room without feeling crowded. The only negatives were we had to make the beds when we arrived but at least we knew the sheets were clean! We also cooked in most meals and found the utensils / pots / pans to be a little sparse or older but I’m guessing most people usually eat out or get take out so that probably wouldn’t affect many. I reached out to Ned a few times and he responded right away and was very helpful. We were so happy we could bring our pup along too, huge bonus! ##### Chelsea R. The house was big enough for all of us. The neighborhood is safe for the children. It is a few minutes walk to the beach. The weather was gorgeous - warm enough to swim. The beach was not crowded as is the normal case during Labor Day weekend. The most fun activity was kayyaking.
