Super great location, the service was phenomenal and I really felt like I was among great friends. Comfortable and spacious tent. No air conditioning but you do have a large floor fan. Was very disappointed that we did not see any wildlife from the lodge. We reserved dinner with the hosts and it was very good. A few mosquitoes but not bad. Staff and owners were friendly. Must stay! Great lodge directly on the Chobe River and flood plain. We stayed in a lodge room which is actually a fine "tent" style complete with private bath / shower and kitchen. The rather large "tent" was on it's own elevated platform overlooking the Chobe River flood plain.we enjoyed dinner and drinks while watching the sunset. Glorious! And for added fun a Wart hog was a resident immediately below our deck. As it is at the edge of the Chobe game reserve Elephant were regularly seen on the road. Gated and quite safe the lodge also offers space for caravans and campers. Exceptional value. Top notch facility. Fine restaurant and a bar are also within the lodge.
