You check in at a restaurant up the hill and one of the staff then takes you to the apartment. Free parking nearby. Only real negatives were the shower cubicle which was way too small and quite a few mozzies in the evening when drinking wine on the terrace…"

"Our first trip to Croatia. We stayed for a week during very hot weather. The pool and wellness facilities were excellent. The a/c in the room was great and accommodation all very comfortable. We loved the vibe in Novigrad and ate at a few of the restaurants, just a short walk from the hotel. There is also a lovely park you can walk to where there is easy access to swim in the sea. "An absolutely incredible location right on the waterfront. No more than 500 m from just about anything you would want to see or do in town. It was all of 10 m out the back door to get into the beautiful clear blue and warm water. The breakfast setup was quite appealing and very well done. While the price of a night stay is higher than other places in town, the value proposition was well worth it. We had a balcony that overlooked the ocean and we really enjoyed sitting out there and watching the sunset over the azure Blue water"

"The room was clean and towels were refreshed daily. Buffet breakfast and dinner in the hotel were good. The Oleander restaurant was also good but in the trees so bug spray is needed. The water in the main pool was colder than the sea, and the spa pool was cool despite, supposedly, being heated. The staff were great and many made a fuss of our 4 year old. There is no local bus or hotel shuttle to the Old Town. This is only a short walk for adults but several times we returned to the hotel by taxi (never charged more than 10 Euros though). All in all, this is an excellent location and a great holiday destination. Airport transfers were excellent, booked through Maistra link."

"Don’t be put off by the lack of reviews - this place is great. Recently done out. Rooms immaculate. Dining hall the same and a great variety of food. Wonderful seafront location with delightful walk to Piran and Portoroz nearby the other way. Staff all really helpful. Great pool just by the sea. Lovely little row of gift shops between the rooms and the pool area. Only thing was you had to pay for sun loungers but I think quite a few places do that in Italy. We were two adults and three children who came for a rest after travelling for a week and it was brilliant."
