The check-in was smooth, however we found the bell boy a bit rude. Hotel is nice, it looks new however some of the finishes were not top notch for the price you were paying. The exhaust in the bathroom kept turning on and off, and it sounded like a car was revving, so we kept it off. Since we just staying a night we didn't bring it up with the staff. Pressure in the shower head was weak, but the hand held shower head was decent. Bed was comfy. Sri Lankan breakfast was tasty, a must try for every tourist! Nice view of the lake from the balcony, make sure you keep your balcony doors locked. We were visited by a monkey couple who got busy and gave us a good show. Great room with million dollar views. Most comfortable bed I have slept in Sri Lanka. Beautiful rooftop with great infinity pool overlooking Kandy lake. Very walkable location - to the city in minutes! The only negative is that the hotel could not handle the volume of guests at breakfast. Many dishes were empty and kept empty for ages. The hoppers we ordered took 2 hours to come! This was the day after the Randoli Perahera so is assume they were not equipped to handle this number of guests. Looking forward to staying here again.
