« Beautiful setting. I was a bit confused about advertised lake who is actually not on the property and holds little for guests. Pool area was wonderful very quiet with trees and birds. Heinz was most helpful in sugges outings and arranging driver. A few niggles: Breakfasts like all in Sri Lanka could use some tweaking with toast presented first to go cold and items not offered but available such as tomatoes or bacon: readily provided when requested. Spider life is rampant so staff could pay more...

« Belle chambre (villa) située dans un très grand parc au bord du lac. Pleins d animaux, des singes, écureuils, lémuriens, et qqes insectes. Au bord du lac, avec 2 magnifiques piscines. Une belle atmosphère paisible. Le lit est confortable. Le personnel très gentil. Le buffet un peu répétitif mais pour le prix il n y a rien à dire. Les chambres pourraient etre un peu mieux nettoyées, mais nous y avons été très bien. Endroit parfait pour aller visiter Dambulla, Sigirya et Polonaruwa »

« Sad case of lovely hotel falling into decay after Covid. We four were only guests for our two day stay. Staff could not do enough but could not find booking, pool very neglected and rooms although enormous could do with a large amount of tender loving care. One I hope succeeds in the future. »

« We stayed Moi Dambulla for 3 days. It was such a beautiful and peaceful stay. Its also really close to the Golden temple and can get to Sigirya easily. The staff members were excellent and went above and beyond. The place is very clean, I wasn’t keeping well on the day of checkout and the staff very kindly let us checkout late because of me. They also cooked us meals. Erande, the manager I believe and the staff were really great, we definitely recommend the stay. »

« Séjour dans un cadre superbe. Par contre le dîner accompagné d'insectes et autres moustiques et bestioles, a été un des pires moments. Mésaventure concernant le règlement. Nous avons réglé la totalité à notre départ et on s'est fait débité le règlement une nouvelle fois sur la carte qui a servi de réservation. C'est vraiment très limite et surtout incompréhensible. Nous avons appelé l'hôtel hier qui nous a confirmé un remboursement que nous surveillons, et bien entendu, nous n'hésiterons pas...

"Il y a toujours un tuktuk pour vous enmener dans les petits restaurants situé à proximité. Piscine sympa, restaurant sympa par contre le dernier jour, un employé est rentré dans ma chambre quand nous étions au petit déjeuner, mon chauffeur qui m'attendait l'a vu rentrer et il n'avait rien à y faire. Je n'ai pas constaté de vol mais cela ne m'a pas plu."
