"Beautiful setting. I was a bit confused about advertised lake who is actually not on the property and holds little for guests. Pool area was wonderful very quiet with trees and birds. Heinz was most helpful in sugges outings and arranging driver. A few niggles: Breakfasts like all in Sri Lanka could use some tweaking with toast presented first to go cold and items not offered but available such as tomatoes or bacon: readily provided when requested. "Perfect little hotel. Just off main road but very quiet at night. Food was lovely, very friendly staff and facilities in the room all looked new. Air con worked well and bed was comfortable, WiFi in the room was a little slow at times but other than that this place was perfect."

"Breakfast was buffet style and was included in our room rate. Very good lots of choices. Pool was great with a fantastic view of lion rock. We were a couple and only saw a couple of children in the pool, lots of tour groups eating in the restaurant. We had the buffet dinner and found it good value 4500sri rupees"

"The place was having work done around the pool, the owners dog bit me in reception the drinks and food is over priced and the location is in the middle of no where. I was booked for two nights but stayed for one, I suppose you get what you pay for lesson learned"

"Lovely setting with pool and beautiful garden. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was great. I thought this was good value for the price we paid. Areas for improvement: no towles supplied initially (had to ask), lack of toiletries in the room (no hand soap), wifi does not work, food at restaurant quite expensive. We wanted to have two beds but the rooms have inbuilt king beds so there was a small uncomfortable single bed added. No room service unless you ask and provide your key."
