The main road passing through, Route 17, connects you to other towns and attractions. For those seeking a quiet escape and a taste of traditional Malaysian village life, staying in a homestay within Kampung Sanglang is an excellent choice. These often offer a comfortable, authentic experience, sometimes with activities like cooking classes or farm visits. It's ideal for travellers wanting to experience local culture directly.Travellers prioritising convenience for exploring the wider Kedah region might prefer accommodation just outside the immediate village centre, closer to major roads. This allows for easier day trips to nearby attractions like the Kuala Perlis Jetty for Langkawi or the rice fields of Perlis.
