Top Kampung Lambar Hotel Reviews

Ibis Styles Sepang Klia

8/10 Good

"The shuttle service is quite restricted so check with the hotel before booking as I waited up to 2 hrs and no shuttle service also it’s quite difficult to find it as it’s not on the shuttle service area but in front of the departures entrance of terminal 1 and 2 The rest is fine I took a taxi and it’s was fine . The hotel is not far from the airport the bkfast is amazing huge amount of food and drinks."

Zenith Hotel Putrajaya

8/10 Good

"When we arrived it was a very beautiful and maintained hotel. The view from our room was fantastic with the lake and seeing the bridge lit up as well at night. Very clean and they provide complimentary items such as toothbrushes & toothpaste, shower gel, tea and coffee in the rooms so all you need to bring is your clothes and work items. The only downside is they don’t provide bottled water but filtered drinking water by tap next to the bathroom sink. Breakfast was good with many options, including homemade egg station so it’s made fresh to order. We also had dinner most night in the hotel which was nice. Would definitely recommend the beef burger. The rooftop pool was really nice and enjoyable after a lot of travelling too and from the F1 in Sepang over the weekend, however the bar was never opened sadly so you couldn’t fully benefit from it so perhaps it’s something they can review moving forward as I think more people would use that as the gym is also on the same floor. The location is fine if you drive but if not then grab is probably your only option as the metro is 10 minutes away by car and there isn’t many options nearby for eating out or even local shop to buy things like bottled water. Overall very happy with our stay and would recommend it to anyone as it’s a quiet and remote part of the country"

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Kampung Lambar?

The best area to stay in Kampung Lambar is near the main road, Jalan Lambar, which offers the most convenient access to local attractions and amenities.

This central area is where you'll find the highest concentration of guesthouses and local eateries. It's easy to navigate, with most places just a short walk or drive from each other. You'll also be close to the local market, where you can experience the daily life of the village.

Couples looking for a relaxing getaway will appreciate staying in this area. Many guesthouses offer a quiet, comfortable environment, often with views of the surrounding countryside. It provides a peaceful base for exploring the nearby natural beauty, such as local waterfalls and hiking trails.

For travellers looking for a local experience, staying near Jalan Lambar is ideal. You'll be well-placed to interact with residents, sample traditional cuisine, and visit local craft shops.

When is the best time to go to Kampung Lambar?

The best time to visit Kampung Lambar is during the dry season, which typically runs from May to September.

During these months, you'll experience less rainfall and plenty of sunshine, making it ideal for outdoor activities and exploring the natural beauty of the area. The drier weather ensures comfortable conditions for hiking, visiting local farms, and enjoying the river without the interruption of heavy downpours.

While the wet season (October to April) brings more rain, it also means the jungle is at its most lush and vibrant. If you don't mind occasional showers, this can be a good time to visit for a different perspective on the landscape, often with fewer visitors and cooler temperatures. However, some outdoor activities might be limited due to conditions.

Ultimately, for a comfortable and activity-filled visit, aim for the dry season.
