The best area to stay in Kampung Beluru is generally within or very close to the Belum-Temenggor Forest Complex, specifically around the Banding Island area. This region is the primary access point for exploring the ancient rainforest. Banding Island itself is a small island in Temenggor Lake, connected to the mainland by a bridge. It serves as a gateway to eco-tourism activities, with most accommodation options offering direct access to the lake and forest experiences. For travellers seeking an immersive nature experience, staying in a lakeside resort near Banding Island is ideal. These resorts often organise guided jungle treks, boat trips to see the Rafflesia flower, and opportunities for wildlife spotting. It's a fantastic base for exploring the area's natural beauty and conservation efforts.Couples looking for a peaceful retreat will appreciate the serene surroundings of the lakeside accommodations.

The best time to visit Kampung Beluru is during the dry season, which typically runs from March to September.During these months, you'll experience consistently sunny weather and lower humidity, making it ideal for outdoor activities like exploring the rainforest or enjoying the river. The clearer skies also enhance visibility for wildlife spotting. This period is particularly good for families planning a trip, as the pleasant weather allows for uninterrupted enjoyment of nature and outdoor adventures without the disruption of heavy rainfall. While the wet season (October to February) brings lush greenery and fewer tourists, it also means higher humidity and more frequent, often heavy, downpours. Some outdoor activities might be affected, and river levels can rise significantly.
