"Very poor quality food, limited choices, poor housekeeping, in our 10 day stay, our sheets were changed once, the room was not cleaned at all. The pool dirty/cloudy and constantly full of bugs, and was generally in bad condition with broken lights, tiles (with sharp edges) and plagued with ants. "Stunning hotel - had wanted to go for 4 years before we finally booked and we were certainly not disappointed. It won’t be 4 years before we book again! Felt like royalty for our stay - ate like kings and the staff can’t do enough for you. Swim up pool was a huge plus for us. We also visited the spa - whilst a little pricey, it was the best facial I’ve ever had. Not much to do nearby and not in comfortable walking distance of any other restaurants and bars. However, we were very happy just staying onsite for our full stay! Next time we plan to stay a night or two in the old town before heading to Mayia to relax for a week. Unfortunately Rhodes airport does bring you crashing back to earth a bit before heading home!"

"This is one of the most amazing hotels we have ever stayed at! The hotel is new, it only opened in June this year. The rooms are beautiful, everything you might need is available - air con is great, fridge etc! But the most amazing of all are the staff, Raphaela at reception and the Hotel Manager have gone above and beyond to make our stay perfect and we are very grateful for everything. The food was absolutely delicious, everything was fresh and there was so much variety at breakfast, with some new dishes every day! I was extremely happy with the fresh vegetables and fruits (the cucumber and tomatoes were local and super tasty!!)! Lots of choice: cheese pies, sweet pastries, cake and a mix of savoury dishes (eggs, omelette, sausages, bacon etc etc). We had half board and initially we didn’t know what to expect (as we don’t usually get half board) but the food was exquisite! The quantities were just right - with a starter, salad, main and desert; everything prepared freshly and very tasty! I loved the aubergine salad (so much better than in other 2 restaurants we ordered it in the previous evenings!); a light moussaka (with grilled vegetables; not the usual oily type!) etc. The pool is lovely and the sun beds super comfy! We don’t usually stay by the pool during the day but the pool was so nice that we actually spent the day there! An amazing experience and we recommend wholeheartedly the hotel! And many thanks again to the staff for making our stay so perfect!!"

"A very nice hotel overall. The rooms are pleasant, the property is clean, and the water park is excellent, with far more slides than you would typically find at a hotel. The staff were friendly and attentive most of the time. This could have been a perfect stay if not for a few issues: • The children's sofa bed and the extra bed provided were extremely uncomfortable. • The water pressure in the shower was weak, and the bathroom ventilation did not work. • The music around the water park was tool loud. Some guests may enjoy it, but we found it unbearable and completely redundant. • The most frustrating issue was the lack of air conditioning in the main restaurant. Only one section had weak air conditioning, making the restaurant unbearably hot in August."

"We can highly recommend Mediterraneo! Our room was well equipped and clean, and the hosts were very welcoming during our stay. They also helped us with the airport transfer, cleaned the room during our stay, and were always ready to help us. The garden of the accommodation is beautiful, it feels very relaxing to spend time among the well-kept greenery. The apartments also have a lovely traditional Greek blue-and-white style, which makes the experience even better. Everything you need can be found nearby, including small shops, restaurants, and the beach. We also think that Stegna is the best choice for a holiday in Rhodes: it is authentic, charming, and very peaceful. Overall, Mediterraneo is an excellent choice for a relaxing holiday and a great base for exploring the island."

"Absolutely fantastic holiday, Michelle from the pool bar was fantastic and really made our holiday. Staff were brilliant and always accommodating and willing to help. Food was incredible. Room was lovely, only thing mission is that there was no kettle in the room but nothing major. Shame we only went for a week. Brilliant evening entertainment, would recommend hiring a car if you’re planning on adventuring out of the resort. 10/10 we will be going again 👍"
