Also a good location for activities on the west side of the island. Relatively easy drive to Hilo area as well. The house is an unusual layout with plenty of room to spread out and even a theater which we did not utilize. The lanai or patio is very large and provides an outstanding view of the ocean and the evening sunset. Each bedroom is air conditioned but the central area with the kitchen facilities is not and can be somewhat warm in the afternoon. The kitchen is reasonable equipped, though a dish drainer would be a welcome addition. The lower level kitchen has a refrigerator and sink but no microwave or stove. A microwave would be a nice addition. We enjoyed our stay and had excellent response from the property managers when questions arose. ##### Kenneth S. Convenient to everything and we gathered on the huge lanai often for meals and in the evening. Could have used shelving or drawers in the bedrooms and bathrooms but that was a minor inconvenience. There was a hole in the ceiling, duct tape on fridge. Mold on 1 of the bathroom baseboards, rotting wood, electrical wires hanging out, some of furniture was used and worn and really bad shape, cobwebs, that’s not even all of it. Very, very disappointed. Did not stay the first night - left after checking out the place- probably was there for 1 hour and we just couldn’t stay. Discussed!! ##### Connie S.
