This listing is for the front unit, which is fully self-contained and ideal for smaller groups or families. Separated from the rear unit by a garage, the two spaces are connected only by a shared laundry behind the garage. The entrance to the front unit is via a private deck with wide eaves for shelter. At the back of the house, there’s an additional deck with outdoor furniture and a BBQ—ideal for al fresco dining or enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Inside, the master bedroom boasts a super-king bed, ensuite bathroom, and sliding door to the deck. The second bedroom features a split super-king bed that can be configured as a single bed or super-king—let us know your preference. The third bedroom offers a comfortable king bed. A second bathroom complements the ensuite, ensuring convenience for everyone. The open-plan living area combines the kitchen, dining, and lounge. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, electric hob, extraction fan, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, and granite-topped island—a great hub for socializing. The lounge has a leather suite, a 65" TV with Netflix and Disney+, and a dining table for six. The shared laundry includes a washing machine and dryer. We absolutely loved our 10-day stay here over mid-winter – the beds are really comfortable, and the showers are excellent. The house is lovely and warm when we used the heatpump and heaters, but there's also good airflow on days when we wanted to open up. There are so many thoughtful little touches to this house – it's got great facilities (even a coffee machine and plunger), like the washing machine, which made it really easy to settle in for an extended stay. The location was great – there's a beautiful view of the mountains, it's a quick drive to town, and there's a shortcut at the end of Ward St for walking down to the peninsula road and track. It made for a fantastic \~3 hr loop walk across the peninsula to South Bay and northwards back. Communication with Tim was great, he's a superb host, and the house is really well set up. We'd stay here as a group again in a heartbeat. ##### Simon P.
