Our lovely ground floor unit is on the desirable 'East Side', right at the 18th hole. Out of the 330 condos here at Turtle Bay Kuilima, our condo is set closest to the beach, so we know you will find the location to be ideal. Turtle Bay Resort is just a 2 minute walk. There you will find the perfect kid friendly beach for swimming and snorkeling all year round, even when the waves are huge here on the North Shore. A favorite for many is to watch the sunset at the resort, as there is a really great surf break right in front of the bar. Enjoy a cocktail and Pu Pu's while watching surfers catch perfect waves as the sunsets. This is a true Hawaiian experience in every way. We also have miles of hiking trails, horseback riding, scooter/bike rentals, helicopter rides, kayaking, surf lessons, tide pools, fruit stands, shrimp farms, surf competitions at Banzai Pipeline, and seven miles of the worlds best surfing beaches. We talked to Deb, the property manager, to get the address to our condo and she told us the Condo's name had been changed to Kawela but the condos{ were still there with the same access to the beaches and the beautiful bay next to the Resort. Our condo was about a 10-15 minute walk on a nice walk way to get to all the beach accesses. The condo was very nice, not fancy but had everything we needed. A good bed, fully stocked kitchen, new couch and nice furniture and a very nice pool.. It was quiet and Deb helped up with the TV and all our questions. The host was wonderful and helpful. This property is in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Depending on how fast you walk you can get to the beach in 3-5 minutes. There are several beach areas within 15 minutes driving and 2 or 3 that you could walk to in 3-15 minutes. The kitchen was tidy, stocked with all of the essentials. I loved having laundry available in the apt. The pool was cute and very close, though i did not use it. The community is gated, adding to safety and the host was waiting for me when I arrived making it all very simple. I loved having a few beach items available for use! Those came in very handy! I would recommend and would stay again. This would be a good place to bring children as well, noting that there is 1 bedroom and a sofa bed. Originally signed up for two adults, knowing my friend would be there a day or two. Another friend decided to go. When he found out he immediately called me wanting more money. He immediately put a charge for an extra person the entire stay. I had to explain to him it was only two days. He changed it but wanted to be paid 'tonight'. Really? He wanted an extra 35 or 40 dollars per night for one person. I / we felt watched the entire time. Not to mention mislead. I don't plan to stay there again. ##### Jere S.
