The Honua Kai (HK) resort is located at the northern end of golden Ka'anapali Beach, considered one of the world's best, warmed by the beautiful Maui sun and overlooking the islands of Lanai and Molokai. This condo was perfect for a family with 2 or 3 children with plenty of room for everyone. It came well stocked with every kitchen gadget we needed. Plenty of beach chairs, an umbrella, and boogie boards. I would recommend replacement or a deep cleaning of the couches, there were stains that were visible as we had to move the cushions off each day for the pull-out couches. ##### Julie H. Appliances and furnishings were very nice. Never experienced nana walls before and really liked how big they make the room feel! Were afraid of the screens after multiple warnings about ease of damage so we did not use them. Parking for the building gets very difficult after 7pm. Valet personnel were not always available. Not their fault - it gets a little crazy workload for them! Towels for pool and beach come from a vending type machine with radio trackers and a loss fee. Some machines get turned off overnight and are generally require patience. The elevator in our wing apparently has been out of service for a long time. The main elevator bank had one of the 2 broken for a day during our stay. There are 6 BBQ's near the lazy river. They are kept very clean and seem high end but 2 would not light and 1 would not heat up. Called the help number and they responded quickly. ##### Dennis H.
