Located on a hill and surrounded by beautiful pine trees, it is serene and the wrap-around porch is the perfect place for coffee, meals, and relaxing as the sun sets behind the mountains. The bed was comfortable as was the living room. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking lots of meals. The local convenience store was minutes away, which was a nice surprise. Jemez Springs town was about 10 minutes down the mountain. Numerous hiking trails were nearby (the hiking was incredible), including one at the very end of the road that was part of Valles Caldera National Preserve. Host Henry was vey nice and easy to work with. He even brought us water when the purifier wasn’t working properly.
