"What a lovely place to stay. Beautiful setting. Wonderful old house so well kept. Bedroom was very comfortable and dining room with real fire was a treat. Sheila was very welcoming. Would love to come again."

"We stayed for 2 nights and loved it. The location was great as we could walk everywhere and Margaret was so easy the communicate with. The lodge was spotless and the kitchen was well equipped. We would definitely stay again."

Handy for visiting the Abbey
"Nicely situated for the Melrose Abbey and car parking behind the hotel appreciated. The room needs refreshing and the yellowing shower curtain needs replacing. We were over the main road so I think we had the « hotels.com room »"
