Plenty of room for our family get together. The property was secluded but at the same time close to great hiking and charming towns. Judi was helpful with checking in and providing us with recommendations for our stay. The house has been recently updated so we had no issues with any of the appliances. The finished basement was great for guests who wanted some privacy. Our group had young children and the floor mattress, highchair and pack and play at the house were extremely helpful. We've been renting properties in the Lake Placid area for over 30 years. This place had everything you would need for all ages and a dog. So nice to stay in a real pet friendly place with a fenced in yard large enough for a dog to run. All agreed we should stay there again next year. ##### wayne t. This property gave everyone plenty of space and privacy -- as well as a lovely great room for gathering. The backyard is particularly gorgeous. The hosts are gracious, welcoming, and helpful. The knotty-pine interior is beautiful and the house is roomy, comfortable (fully air-conditioned) and clean. The open concept of the space was perfect for our large group of 9 adults, 4 children and 1 dog. With the inside seating area and adjacent kitchen/dining areas directly accessible to the outside deck, it was particularly convenient for all of us to gather, move about and get reacquainted. The downstairs TV and game rooms were a big hit with the kids, as was the hot-tub out back. Since we brought our dog along, it was a comfort to see that the back yard was completely fenced in…there’s even a doggie-station complete with poop-a-scoop bags! The location turned out to be ideal for excursions, being within easy reach of attractions in Wilmington, Laker Placid, Ausable Forks and Keene. I would definitely recommend this property to other families looking to stay in the area. ##### Robert W.
