During the summer evenings the Arenal is busy with crafts stalls, artists and musicians. 2/ The port area with its fish market and promenade. 3/ The old town with its narrow streets, shops, historic buildings. There is a colourful market every Thursday morning. 10k from Jávea is the town and port of Denia with daily crossings to the Balearic islands. Denia boasts miles of sandy beaches with its tree lined streets, pavement cafés, bars and restaurants. The resort of Benidorm is only a 40 minute drive away and close by is Terra Mítica, which is one of Europe's largest theme parks, you can also visit Aqualandia a themed water park and next door Mundomar with its dolphins, seals and parrots. A drive to Guadalest is a must with its quaint shops, narrow cobbled winding streets and spectacular views from the village square. Jávea Town: Jávea lies between pine-covered Cabo De La Nao to the South and Cabo De San Antonio to the North. The town is ideal for a family holiday, especially in the Spring when the area is ablaze with blossom from the almonds and the scents of orange and lemon trees fill the air. The World Health Organisation has proclaimed Jávea to be ‘environmentally near perfect’ and you can bask in the Costa Blanca’s brightest sunshine here on about 320 days of the year. Jávea old town nestles at the foot of 2,500 feet Mount Montgo, a designated nature reserve. It boasts a 16th century church, covered market and for the historically minded a museum housing a nationally important collection of rare Iberian finds from Montgo. After exploring the town’s fascinating narrow streets, you can make your way to the old fishing port about 1 mile away. To the south of the old town lies the Arenal beach, a broad crescent of fine golden sand backed by a promenade of shops and restaurants. The villa is as good as it looks in the photos. Definitely a luxury property and din’t disappoint in any aspect. The suite on the top floor gave some privacy to the the couple who used it for our stay. Everything was there that you needed. The location is second to none but I would be wary of anyone in the party is less mobile as the location is situated half way up/down a very steep hill. Excellent restaurant at the foot of the hill which is walkable so that was a bonus. A short drive from water sports etc so all easily accessible. We had a wonderful stay - the decor in the villa is very tasteful and gives it that certain something to make it feel really special. ##### Maggie G. The swimming pool area was just perfect for our children (age 5 and 7). We had a few days with some friends staying with us and there was plenty of space for all eight of us to have a great time and not be falling over each other. Cala Clemence is the restaurant within walking distance (down the hill) and it really is a treat! We went quite a few times and enjoyed the food and view very much. It's absolute brilliant to have somewhere to go and eat that's within walking distance. Fab holiday and we'll definitely be back! ##### Jo H. Be aware tho that there are lots & lots of steps/stairs (some with no hand rails) so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues & our two year old guest kept us on our toes!!
