"We really enjoyed our stay here. The location couldn't have been more convenient—just a 5-minute walk to the airport, which made our travel so much easier. The room was spotless, the bedsheets were fresh and clean, and everything was well maintained. The host was warm, kind, and made us feel right at home. A special thank you for the freshly made South Indian breakfast before we left. It was absolutely delicious and such a thoughtful gesture that we truly appreciated. Thank you for your...

"What we did not like was that the hotel looked good on the expedia website but the reality was very different. The entrance was very depressing and at night was not lit at all. You needed a torch to find your way. Room was big but was not very clean. We even had an additional guest. A cockroach! The hotel is overpriced for what it provides."

"Our stay was very disappointing due to the poor cleanliness and hygiene of the room. We found cockroaches, lizards, mosquitoes and spiders inside the room. More concerning, we also noticed insect/animal droppings, including on the bed. This made us extremely uncomfortable and raised serious concerns about the cleanliness and maintenance of the room. A hotel room should at minimum be clean, hygienic and properly maintained. Unfortunately, our experience did not meet even these basic...

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Jangli Ghāt?
The best area to stay in Jangli Ghāt is near the Andaman Trunk Road, particularly around the main market and the Phoenix Bay area.

This central part of Jangli Ghāt is the most developed, offering a range of accommodations and amenities. You'll find it convenient for accessing local shops, eateries, and transport links along the Andaman Trunk Road, which is the main artery of the area. The Phoenix Bay Jetty, a key departure point for ferries to other islands, is also located here.

For couples looking for convenience and easy access to island hopping, staying near Phoenix Bay is ideal. You're just a short walk from the jetty, making day trips to Havelock or Neil Island straightforward. This area also has a selection of restaurants and cafes, superb for evenings out after exploring.

Solo travellers will also find the main market area around Andaman Trunk Road practical. It's easy to navigate, with plenty of local transport options like auto-rickshaws readily available.
When is the best time to go to Jangli Ghāt?
The best time to visit Jangli Ghāt is during the dry season, which runs from October to May.

This period avoids the monsoon rains and offers pleasant weather for exploring the islands. You'll find sunshine and comfortable temperatures, making it ideal for outdoor activities like swimming, snorkelling, and visiting the local attractions.

Couples looking for a relaxing beach holiday will find this season great for enjoying the pristine beaches and clear waters. The calmer seas also make island hopping and boat trips more enjoyable, allowing for easy access to nearby attractions like Ross Island and North Bay Island.

Families travelling with children will appreciate the stable weather conditions during these months. It's an excellent time for kids to enjoy playing on the beaches and participating in water sports without the disruption of heavy rainfall.
