Highly recommend – Clean, affordable, and great location!" I was very satisfied with my stay at Galley Hotel in Istanbul. The hotel was extremely clean, and the reception team was outstanding — especially Mr. Ali, who was very polite and helpful throughout my stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning to travel to Istanbul and looking for a clean, budget-friendly place with good access to transportation and attractions. This is our first stay with this property. The price/quality ratio is unbeatable. The location is fantastic once you learn how to navigate the small streets. The staff is bi/tri lingual and very helpful. The A/C does what it should, they even fit the small safe deposit box and a kid's size freezer. The breakfast is abundant though not "American style" (no cereals or different kinds of milk.) The rooms are cleaned every other day, but if you need anything in between the front desk will help with that. I found that getting a cab or airport transfer through the front desk is easy. I strongly believe this room is worth every penny spent. A small dark spot, which does not ruin your stay but worth mentioning (and I told it to the staff too) is the restrooms are not equipped with forced exhaust vents. The regular one is there though. So when you go for a walk after breakfast leave the windows open and the restroom door open too. But this is an engineering solution went wrong, nothing to do with staff.

My stay here was so great. The staff were amazing - very helpful, always available and very friendly. For the price, the accommodation was really good - its close to transport and many of the sites, but be aware there is a decently steep hill that was my nemesis until I got used to it, but to be fair, I'm not at all fit. Important to know is that the rooms are not cleaned daily but you can ask for your bedding to be changed or clean towels. Room had a fridge and kettle which is really handy. Great place to end a touristy packed day

Great location & value for money.

Excellent location. Very helpful and kind staff, I left behind my e-Reader and the young man at reception went out of his way to find it for me, I am very grateful!!. The room was modern and comfortable. There was some noise from the street audible in our room, but this didn’t negatively impact our stay.

The hotel is very close to tourist attractions. There are many restaurants around and places to shop. The hotel is super clean and the reception is very good. They helped us with the transportation book to and from the airport.

Great budget-friendly option

This was a great budget-friendly option for Istanbul. It's within walking distance of many of the main tourist attractions and with good public transport connections. The staff were helpful and friendly and the breakfast was great. The only small issue was that the bathroom had an open shower in the style of a wet room, but did not have sufficient drainage and as a result it flooded every time we showered.

We took the only 4 ppl room on level 3. The staff Zubair was kind enough to help to bring luggage upstairs. The room was slightly claustrophobic given the slanting part in the room was about 1.4m in height only, but the hotel was in a premium sultanahmet location. We didn’t mind as much as we spent most of the time outdoor.
