We had such a lovely stay! A lovely place to stay in the heart of historic Taksim at the heart of Istanbul. Great location with lots to do, restaurants, historic attractions and night clubs surrounding property. It felt just like home, the team at the hotel were very friendly, helpful, proactive and respectful.

I loved staying here. The location was central and in such a great neighborhood. As a solo traveler in my 20s, I felt very safe and comfortable here. The staff were so helpful and attentive. The interior was beautiful, full of character and history. Everything about this place felt special.

This property is in a great and lively location in Cihangir. Do be aware that there is a fair bit of noise from bars and venues in the area, but manageable if you too are planning to be up a bit later into the evening or if you're a heavy sleeper. The room I was given was beautiful, with high ceilings, nice windows that open to a courtyard and plenty of space. Bed was comfortable, shower was hot and had good pressure. Biggest issue was that the front desk does not seem to be regularly manned. Every time I arrived at the front desk (check in at 10pm, check out at 9:50am, luggage pick-up at 6pm), I ended up having to call the phone number listed on Google maps to receive service. The call was always picked up quickly and someone came within a minute or two, so not a major problem, but something travellers should be aware of, especially if they don't have calling capabilities on their phones when they arrive.

The only good thing I can say is that the building itself is beautiful. The rooms are not well-maintained anymore. Even though we booked a premium room, it definitely did not feel like a 4-star hotel. It is not worth the price. On weekends, the rooms facing the street get very noisy. There was noise from the bars downstairs and cars playing loud music until 4 AM. I expected the receptionist to think about this and give us a room facing the other side. There was no one at the reception desk during check-in or check-out. Anyone walking on the street can just walk inside, so you might run into random people right outside your room. Despite this, I felt safe because it is a historical and familiar local place for me. However, if it was a place I didn't know, it would be very risky.

Comfortable, Clean Stay.

The bed was very comfortable and the hotel was clean. The room was a good size and the windows opened to let in a nice breeze. Of course, the room had an air conditioner. The staff was so friendly and welcoming and always had a nice smile on their faces.

A Perfect Hotel

Old-world charm with cool twist

Beautiful building inside and out in a really great location for this vibrant hipster-ish area. Very helpful and competent staff. The wonderfully renovated rooms seem to be getting a little bit worn, but I’ll take that over boring any day. Would definitely stay here again.

Very pleasant stay

Very pretty old building, rooms are spacious and have high ceilings and huge windows. Service was great too. Close to everywhere, it’s right in the center of the city. Very pleasant stay overall!! The only problem is that the hotel is in the middle of the party neighborhood so if you are a light sleeper you may have trouble falling asleep.
